"Misha, it's time to eat," Natasha said as she and the twins brought out the lunch they had prepared. They laid a tablecloth on the grass, revealing Leba Dumplings and meat, along with freshly washed cucumbers and tomatoes. 0

Xu Li had just finished loading the freshly cut hay onto the cart. He clapped his hands and plopped down next to Natasha, not caring about his dirty hands as he grabbed a piece of Lava and started eating. 0

Anna held a handkerchief to wipe the sweat off Xu Li's forehead while Eva munched on a cucumber and wandered off to find Andrei. Natasha watched Xu Li devour his food with an affectionate smile, urging him, "Slow down, don't choke." 0

After nearly a month of hard work, Xu Li's physique had become sturdier, and his appetite had increased significantly. However, with eating more came more work; previously, several old men would band together to pack and organize the hay for storage in the cellar to feed the cattle and sheep during winter. 0

With Xu Li's strength added to their efforts, the old men could take turns resting. Natasha poured him a glass of milk and said, "In a couple of days, Pushkin's eldest son and his family will be moving back in. We should celebrate their return." 0

Xu Li chewed on his cucumber and turned to Natasha. "Should we prepare gifts?" 0

"No, we just need to bring some food over. We don't have such formalities here; sometimes being too polite can be counterproductive." 0

Seeing Anna resting her head on her knees quietly watching Xu Li eat, Natasha chuckled. "Anna, aren't you going to ride?" 0

"I'll wait a bit," Anna replied without saying more. Xu Li pinched a piece of Xun Yu and stuffed it into her mouth before taking another bite himself. "In two days, we'll have enough hay. Dad said we should let the sheep out by the end of the year. Shouldn't we keep some for breeding?" 0

"People in our village eat less lamb anyway; sheep take longer to grow meat. Plus, we need someone to watch over them here. It might be better to let them all go for some peace. We have enough beef and pork to eat." 0

As they chatted while eating, Eva rode by on a chestnut horse, galloping past them with excitement. Anna stopped paying attention to her meal and bounced off to find Andrei; she loved that black stallion the most. 0

After finishing their meal and taking a short break, Xu Li lit a cigarette and got back to work. Natasha cheerfully tidied up the dishes before heading home with her basket to handle household chores. With Xu Li working on the farm, at least three elderly folks were freed up. 0

In the evening, Xu Li led Anna and Eva home with laughter as they followed Andrei. They spotted Brother-in-law's old vehicle parked in the yard. Eva and Anna hurried inside to hug Ivan, who had just gotten up. "Big brother, you're back!" 0

Eva was only concerned about one thing: "Did you bring us something good to eat?" 0

"I did; it's in your room." 0

"Yay!" 0

Eva happily pulled Anna back to their bedroom. When Ivan came into the yard, Xu Li had just finished washing his face. His bare upper body looked much sturdier than before; he grinned widely. "Misha, now you look like a true Slavic young man." 0

"Big brother," Xu Li said as he shook hands with Eva. "What brings you back?" 0

"I've taken care of the paperwork for you and brought some snacks from our homeland," Ivan said as he handed a folder to Xu Li. "Inside, you'll find the refunded tuition, along with your latest visa and residence permit. From now on, you can live here without any worries." 0
