Xu Li returned the document bag to the bedroom and looked at the pile of opened snack bags scattered on the floor, his mouth slightly agape. So many? 0

There were large bags of dried squid and rice crackers, along with those spicy strips sold in the school store, each costing just a dollar. He estimated there were about ten bags in one big package, and there were two large packages here, along with a box of Wang Wang Milk and an equal number of Coconut Milk cartons. 0

To his surprise, there was even a whole box of Bai Xiang instant noodles in the corner, something he hadn't anticipated. 0

He eagerly opened a box and popped open a can of Coconut Milk, taking a sip. Ah, the nostalgia. 0

"Want some?" 0

Eva's little mouth puffed up, her lips smeared with the red oil from the spicy strips, as she gazed longingly at the Coconut Milk in his hand. Xu Li chuckled and handed her the can. "Here, try it." 0

She slurped it down eagerly. 0

The little girl took a sip, her eyes turning into crescent moons as she smiled. Anna remained silent, simply watching him intently. Without hesitation, he opened another can and handed it to Anna. Then he grabbed a few more cans and headed to the living room, distributing the Coconut Milk to Andrei and Ivan. "Brother, how did you know about these snacks?" 0

"I had no idea about them." 0

Ivan took a sip of Coconut Milk, his eyes lighting up as he smacked his lips. "A while back, when some Chinese police officers came to Irkutsk for an exchange program, I casually mentioned to one of them that my brother-in-law is Chinese and misses the snacks from home. I asked him to bring some back for me." 0

He couldn't help but grin at this point. "I didn't expect him to be so generous; he sent so much." 0

Xu Li offered both men a cigarette. "Brother, do you think this Coconut Milk is good?" 0

"It's definitely good. When I go back home, I'll take a box for Dasha and the others to try." 0

Seeing Ivan nod in agreement, Xu Li thought for a moment and said, "Sister-in-law will only earn so much in over a month anyway. I think you guys could open a small shop near some schools that specializes in Chinese snacks." 0

"In our hometown, kids spend money like it's nothing. A small shop could sell stationery and some toys along with snacks; you could make quite a bit each month—though sourcing the products might be tricky." 0

Ivan looked thoughtfully at the black can in his hand. "Is it really that profitable?" 0

"Let me put it this way: when I was in third grade, a small shop opened next to my school. By the time I graduated elementary school, he had bought out the shop he was renting outright. Do you think he made money?" 0

"I'll discuss it with Yuliya." 0

Ivan nodded but didn't say anything more. Xu Li decided not to press further either; he went to take a shower. When he came out, he found the sisters munching on instant noodle cakes. He couldn't help but twitch his mouth at the sight. "You’re supposed to soak those in water." 0

With that, he snatched the noodle cakes from their hands along with their packaging and headed to the kitchen to boil water. He tossed in the noodles and seasoning packets, and soon a rich aroma filled both the kitchen and living room. Ivan and Andrei followed the scent to the kitchen door, staring intently at the bubbling pot. 0

He served two bowls of noodles, adding some sliced sausage inside before placing them on the dining table. "Anna, Eva—time for noodles!" 0

Slurp! 0

The table fell silent as everyone watched the sisters eat their noodles. After finishing their bowls, they even soaked Lava candies in the broth, happily nodding their heads as they enjoyed every bite. Ivan watched his carefree sisters with a thoughtful expression on his face. 0
