After dinner, Andrei stood at the door and waved to Xu Li, saying, "Come, come, come. I want to show you something cool." 0

Xu Li wiped his mouth and followed Andrei through the long corridor until they arrived at the Boiler Room. Andrei turned on the light and dragged a small wooden box out from beside the boiler. He lifted the old clothes covering it, revealing two little puppies curled up together, sound asleep. 0

"Hey, did Huahua give birth?" he asked, squatting down to pick one up. He scratched its slightly gaunt belly, and the Little Guy immediately let out a few whimpers. Xu Li scratched his head in confusion and looked up at Andrei, who had just lit a Tian Xing cigarette. "Is this what Dad Gao Su's claws are like?" 0

"This is Misha," Andrei replied with a chuckle. "It's a good find." He shook the Little Guy's head gently. "If we raise a couple of bears at home, they can help guard the house and the pasture when Xiong Da comes back. Don’t think that brown bears are all brutal; they’re actually quite intelligent." 0

"Won't they hurt the kids?" Xu Li was now focused on the safety of the children. 0

Andrei shook his head. "When spring comes, I'll weld two big iron cages. We’ll raise them a bit more until they’re familiar with us. Once the kids are older, they can feed them, and naturally, they won’t harm them." 0

"That sounds good. Anna and Eva have plenty of milk; it would be a waste if the kids can’t drink it all. They can share it with the bears." 0

Andrei smiled but didn’t respond. Xu Li was getting more interested. "These two Little Guys haven’t even opened their eyes yet. Where did you find them?" 0

"Last week, we lost a pig on our farm; there were bloodstains on the ground. We old guys took our gear into the woods. If we couldn’t kill whatever did it, this winter wouldn’t be peaceful for us." He exhaled a puff of smoke. "Eventually, we found a bear den. Old Popov managed to take one down easily. When we dragged the dead bear out to take back for food, we discovered these two Little Brats. You wouldn’t believe it; that mother bear was huge—much bigger than an average male bear—with paws this big." 0

As Andrei gestured with his hands to show size, Xu Li’s eyes widened in shock as he touched the scar on his face. "If I had run into that mother bear back then, wouldn’t I have been done for?" 0

"I thought Pushkin would get himself killed trying to catch it, but I thought it was worth taking home," he sighed. "When I was a kid in my hometown village, there were people who raised bears just like pets; they could drink a bit of alcohol without any issues. If you didn’t bother them, they wouldn’t bother you either. If others could raise obedient ones, why couldn’t I? So I brought them back to raise." 0

"I’ll give them both a bath and let Anna hold them," he added. 0

Andrei stopped him: "You can’t bathe them now; they’re too small! You’ve already carried them in the box; just keep them in your room tonight. Didn’t you bring that little sun lamp? Shine it on the box." 0

"Hehe, alright." 0

He grinned as he carried the box back to their bedroom where Anna and Eva were feeding the baby. The sisters had such rich meals that some of it overflowed. He set down the box and grabbed two unused baby bottles, pushing them toward their feeding area: "We can’t waste this!" 0

Anna looked puzzled: "Misha, don’t you usually feed with your mouth? Why use this?" 0
