After finishing his heavy workout, the time had come to morning. He tidied up the equipment, closed the door, and returned to the wooden cabin, just in time for Anna to have prepared breakfast. After washing up and changing clothes, the two quietly enjoyed their meal, leaving Eva out of the equation.
While they were eating, Eva, with her messy hair, dove into Xu Li's arms. "Ah, spoiled you!" Anna remarked with a smirk as she watched her husband feed Eva. Once breakfast was over, they each went about their own tasks. Anna and Eva tidied up the house before starting their day of study.
In the morning, they either read books or practiced playing instruments; otherwise, they played games or watched television. They had no interest in visiting neighbors. Meanwhile, Xu Li drove around the ranch, checking on and feeding the cattle and sheep day after day, occasionally stepping in as a Veterinarian to assist with calving difficulties.
After a busy morning, he headed to the break area to have lunch with other workers. "Makarov," Andreev said after wiping his mouth post-meal, "my eldest son is getting married next month. Can I borrow your car for that?"
"Not planning to come back to work?" Xu Li asked while munching on potato dumplings. Andreev shrugged. "He would like to return, but his partner wants to stay in the big city."
"Alright then, we’ll go together and give the young man some face."
"Deal," Andreev replied with a grin as he stood up and patted Xu Li on the shoulder while passing by. The others finished eating and returned to work; after all, feeding so many cattle and sheep was no small task.
Xu Li's face appeared on the screen: "The morning work is done. See you next time."
In just thirty minutes, it summarized Xu Li's entire morning activities. Anna thought for a moment and decided to recommend Xu Li's video on her channel before putting away her phone and heading back to her room to rest.
Zhang Feng was fuming as he closed his game, lighting a cigarette while preparing to scroll through his phone before sleeping. Unexpectedly, he saw that Anna had updated a video. Clicking on it revealed a surprising length: "Wow, looks like she’s not planning to keep this hidden!"
However, when he opened the video, he was stunned: "Isn’t that my Father-in-law?" He couldn’t believe it—his Father-in-law had actually posted a video! He wondered if Zhuo Ya would make an appearance in it.
Watching Xu Li’s impressive deadlift made Zhang Feng swallow hard; at that moment, the comments were filled with disbelief. That nearly semicircular bend of the barbell couldn’t possibly be fake!
"Let’s eat," Xu Li said on screen as he leaned over to kiss Anna. The sudden display of affection caught him off guard. In the video, they were quietly having dinner together; they had cut out Eva’s later antics and moved on to Xu Li changing clothes after finishing at the ranch.
Reflecting on Anna’s appearance in the video—her long hair casually tied into a loose ponytail—Xu Li playfully slapped her on the backside, causing ripples that made this single guy feel both envious and jealous.
Sighing at his own feelings of envy, he thought it best to wash up and sleep instead. With a heavy heart, he crawled under the covers, dreaming of a better tomorrow as he slowly drifted off to sleep.
The video's popularity surged quickly; by the next morning after breakfast, Xu Li pulled out his phone intending to take a short break when he opened his messages and found himself frozen for several seconds at what he saw in his inbox.
