She gave a barely perceptible response, which Peter quickly picked up on. Happily, he took her small hand, tucked their snacks into her backpack, then slung both bags over his shoulder and stood up, leading her toward the mall. "Let's go buy something to eat." 0

Peter sent a message to Uncle Andong and soon found him in the midst of a big shopping spree. The three of them picked out their favorite snacks, mainly chips and cookies. At the checkout, Uncle Andong handed the cashier a Ruble that was still warm from his pocket. 0

Lisa tugged at Uncle Andong's shirt. "Where did you get the money?" 0

"I found it," he replied with a shrug as he took the change. The three of them exited the mall, and Peter hailed a taxi to take the siblings home. He waved goodbye to Lisa before heading back to Big Uncle's house. 0

As soon as they arrived home, the siblings saw their mom and dad sitting silently on the couch. Natasha noticed the bag Lisa was carrying, and Uncle Andong skillfully created a diversion. They both slightly turned to head into the bedroom, but Natasha followed them. She found Lisa looking for a vase to arrange some flowers and smiled. "Did Peter give you those?" 0

"Yeah," Lisa replied, feeling a bit shy. 0

Noticing the headband and hair tie in her daughter's hair, Natasha thought for a moment but said nothing more. She filled an empty vase with water and placed it on Lisa's bedside table. "This is your first bouquet of fresh flowers; it's very meaningful." 0

As Lisa arranged the flowers, she asked, "Mom, did you and Dad have a fight?" 0

"No," Natasha chuckled lightly. "Your dad and I are planning to buy a house, but after looking around, we found that prices have gone up again. We’ll just have to reluctantly pay next year's rent instead. Your dad and I have always had a stable relationship, so you don’t need to worry about us." 0

"Okay," Lisa nodded. "I already ate with Uncle Andong, so I won’t have dinner." 0

"Then you can do your homework with Uncle Andong," Natasha said before kissing her daughter on the forehead and returning to the living room. She leaned her head on her husband’s shoulder. "Andrei, how about I go check out some places in the suburbs with Dasha and Anan tomorrow? The prices there might be much cheaper." 0

Andrei nodded. "You can go tomorrow; I need to change my work location since it's a bit far from home." 0

"I'll prepare dinner," Natasha said as she patted her husband's hand before getting busy at the stove. 0

"Have Zhuo Ya's parents arrived?" 0

The teacher scanned the room full of parents before calling out names. Xu Li raised his hand. "I’m Zhuo Ya’s father, Makarov." 0

The teacher nodded with a slight smile at Xu Li before continuing with roll call. His phone vibrated; he pulled it out to see a message from Anan: Brother Xu, I'm right behind you. 0

Xu Li turned around and saw Anan cheerfully waving at him. He replied with a message: Why are you here for parent-teacher night? 0

I went to my sister-in-law's place, and since my brother-in-law just moved and couldn't get away, I ended up coming here. 0

Have Peter's parents arrived? 0

Just as he was about to continue replying to the message, the teacher mentioned his child again, and he quickly raised his hand: "My Peter is also my child." 0

The teacher responded, "Your Peter has a significant issue with his attitude towards learning. I hope you can guide him." 0
