What happened between you two? 0

Safna sat in her office chair, tapping her fingers on the desk as she looked at Lisa. "It's one thing for Peter not to study properly, but why are you following his lead?" 0

"I'm sorry, teacher. I'll pay more attention from now on," Lisa replied, lowering her head and fiddling with her fingers. Peter, on the other hand, just grinned sheepishly. "Sister, I promise I'll study hard from now on." 0

"Honestly, it would be nice if you could make things easier for everyone," Safna said, tapping her forehead lightly. "You should head home early; it's not safe to play outside." 0

"Okay, I got it, Sister," Lisa replied. 0

"Goodbye, teacher," Peter and Lisa said as they left the office. After tidying up their books in the classroom, they held hands and walked out of the school. The day’s classes were over, and Lisa was looking forward to sleeping in for the next couple of days. 0

Peter had different thoughts; he had recently become fascinated with fighting. Ever since he got injured last time, he had reflected a lot. Old Father was right—men should be tougher. Knowing how to fight and not knowing how to fight were two very different things when it came down to it! 0

That evening, after having dinner at Lisa's house, they took a taxi back to their place in the suburbs. Peter expected to find the house empty but was surprised to see Zhuo Ya and Irina sitting on the living room sofa playing games. 0

"Hey, when did you guys get back?" 0

Peter tossed his backpack onto the sofa and slumped down like a ragdoll. "Why can you and Irina go out while I can't?" 0

"Because my parents have given up hope on my studies," Zhuo Ya replied while controlling her character in the game. "Anyway, Dad and Mom said that they'll leave the ranch to me to manage in the future. Since you don't like the monotonous work there, studying is your top priority." 0

"Like I care about that," Peter scoffed. 0

He pulled out his phone and opened the profile of a world-class boxer he followed. Just that afternoon around three o'clock, this champion had signed a contract for a match with another fighter; their appearance fees were in the hundreds of millions. 0

"I've already figured out my path moving forward," Peter said as he put away his phone. He changed clothes in his bedroom and headed to the gym at home. He desperately needed to improve his physique before focusing on technique—at least by his eighteenth birthday, he wanted to defeat his first strong opponent, Lao San Zhuo Ya! 0

Zhuo Ya looked slender but was surprisingly strong and agile; her strikes were fierce. If Peter couldn't take Zhuo Ya down, his dreams would just be a joke. 0

Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! 0

In his room, Peter was sweating profusely as he trained. Zhuo Ya came to the door with a bottle of juice and leaned against the doorframe, quietly watching Old Liu punch the bag. After a while, she shook her head and walked inside. "Training like that won't get you anywhere." 0

She set the juice bottle aside and threw a punch at the sandbag. Unlike Peter's strikes that made it sway side to side, this bag moved backward as a whole. The moment it swung back into place, Zhuo Ya unleashed a series of hooks; yet the bag barely moved despite her powerful hits. 0

"Are you just messing around here? Your father teaches you, but you don't learn properly." 0

Zhuo Ya patted Peter on the shoulder. "You should find a boxing gym and get some professional training." 0
