Go tell Alexander. 0

Xu Li took a sip of tea and said, "It's good for the child to explore outside a bit. With my in-laws backing him up, Xie Liaosha won't suffer any losses." 0

"Please, Misha." 0

"What are you saying, sister-in-law? He's my nephew; how could I let him suffer?" 0

Xu Li smiled and waved his hand. After chatting for a while, he took Gennady and his son to the ranch. 0

"Natasha, are the bell peppers I wanted washed yet?" 0

"I'm washing some onions and potatoes now," Yisha replied. 0

"What about the cashews I asked for?" Tamiwa inquired. 0

Xu Li was busy, wearing just a sweater with a blue lab coat over it. He was bustling in front of several large iron pots lined up in a row. A dozen women were busy at the sink, while a few Little Ones sneaked into the kitchen to steal some food. When caught, they flashed silly smiles at the soft-hearted Village Chief Grandpa. 0

"There’s important work to do. You’ll eat at the table later, so behave," Xu Li instructed. 0

He cut several pieces of braised beef and handed each of the Little Ones a piece. They happily ran outside to set off firecrackers. The dining hall was exceptionally clean and tidy. Anna and Eva had even gone to Bratsk to buy some wedding decorations; balloons and flowers were plentiful. The sisters had also cut out many double happiness characters from red paper, sticking them everywhere—a blend of Eastern and Western traditions! 0

Dressed in formal attire, Gennady entered the kitchen and lit a cigarette for Xu Li. "Everyone has arrived; two buses are just right. I’m afraid there won’t be enough tables." 0

Xu Li nodded. "I left some extra room; I had to roast a few more sheep, or else it would have been a disaster. Go greet the guests from the bride's side." 0

"Thank you, Makarov." 0

Gennady patted Xu Li on the back and went to welcome the guests from the village. Thankfully, when they built their house, they didn’t skimp on space; otherwise, there wouldn’t have been enough room for everyone! 0

The new air conditioning kept the dining hall warm, making it quite hot inside. The busy women all had beads of sweat on their foreheads as the Little Ones ran around in the dining hall until their parents pulled them over to sit at a round table in the corner. 0

The groom's and bride's sides had already held their ceremony and eaten lunch at a hotel in Bratsk, so Xu Li and his team still had plenty of time. 0

As night fell, villagers and guests from the bride's side gathered in the festively decorated Dining Hall. The guests from the bride's side looked around at the dining hall; it was quite large for such a small village—almost as big as a plaza! 0

Once everyone was seated, dishes unfamiliar to the guests from the bride's side were served one after another. In the center was a whole roasted lamb that had already been sliced. Boxes of drinks were brought out as everyone chatted and enjoyed their meal. 0

"Yisha, what about the King Crab? Is it ready?" 0

In one of the iron pots, the oil temperature had risen. Yisha, with her round belly, along with Daria and others, brought over freshly cut pieces of King Crab and placed them by Xu Li’s feet. "We’re still processing the crab legs; it’ll be ready soon." 0

After saying that, she went back to her tasks. Xu Li opened a bag of starch and began sprinkling it over the crab pieces while stirring until each piece was coated. Then he poured half into the oil pot; both pots were just enough to finish frying at once. After draining them well, he poured hot oil into a large stainless steel basin and then dragged it to a corner, covering it with a lid to prevent anyone from accidentally getting burned. 0
