Xiao Nianqing, at the forefront, groggily got up and pulled a handgun from his lower back. Before he could steady it, Larryf snatched it away with a swift motion, kicking Xiao Nianqing to the ground. With practiced ease, he disassembled the gun. "Just a broken piece of junk, who are you trying to scare?"
Is that so?
The bartender pulled out a gun from somewhere and pressed it against Larryf's forehead. A few burly men burst into the dance hall, delivering a beating to the once arrogant Zhukov and his crew. In the chaos, Valentin dashed into the dance floor, hiding behind Maria and the others, pulling out his phone to call his father.
To ensure his father would arrive quickly, he exaggerated the situation: "Dad, we're at the dance hall in Vatsk Town. The gangsters have guns and they're coming for us! There are dozens of them, each armed! Hurry and save us!"
Gennady, who was already in bed preparing to sleep, cursed as he got dressed. He headed to Xu Li's house and called out to Zhuo Ya, who was still up playing games. After entering the yard, he opened the door to the tank storage shed, turned on the lights, and connected a few plugs to power the alarm system before triggering it: Woooo!
The once pitch-black village suddenly lit up as lights flickered on in every household. Burly men began gathering at the Village Chief's House while getting dressed, grumbling about how exhausting work was during the day. Who had the audacity to cause trouble in their village at this hour?
With over a hundred men of all ages crowding in the yard, Gennady addressed Andreev and the others: "The kids were at the dance hall and got beaten up by local gangsters. There are dozens of them with weapons, claiming they want to hurt some kids. Your Zhukov is among them."
"Grab your weapons!"
Andreev couldn't believe it. "My child can be disciplined however I see fit; no one else gets to touch him—except for the village chief!"
Just then, Alexei arrived at the Village Chief's House during his day off. Without wasting time on words, he grabbed a Wu Yan from the rack. A man who had just stepped down from Alpha skillfully helped him put on an ammo box and checked the single chain and capacitor for any issues before giving Alexei a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
Choosing a weapon he had only used once before—one that was usually treated like a treasure by the village chief—he decided to have some fun while the chief was away!
With a roar, Steel Behemoth charged out of the storage shed, followed closely by Tiger Armored Vehicle. The older men stayed behind to guard the village while over sixty young and strong men followed Andreev, Gennady, and Alexei as they sped towards Vatsk Town in their vehicles.
Zhuo Ya looked at the empty storage shed and reluctantly called her father. Xu Li, who was changing Old Son’s diaper at her brother-in-law’s house, responded with a nonchalant "Mm" after hearing her daughter's report before dismissing it entirely. After all, their village had plenty of Wu Yan; how could they suffer losses?
Did they really think those who stepped down from Signal Flag and Alpha were just freeloaders?
Xiao Nianqing, with a bruised face, kept swinging a stick at Zhukov and his crew. At this point, only Natasha and Maria remained among the girls in the dance hall along with ten or so gangsters and four men in police uniforms sitting silently in a booth smoking.
"Heh heh heh, if you have something to say, just kill us now," Valentin spat blood as he glared at panting Xiao Nianqing. "Our village is just an hour's drive from Watzke; you better be ready!"
"Ha! Still talking tough?"
Xiao Nianqing kicked out again before landing several blows on Valentin. The girls huddled in the center of the dance floor; today had been their unlucky day. After chatting for just a bit with these reckless youths, they found themselves caught up in this mess without any way to explain themselves or seek justice.
