After escaping from the abandoned factory, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing were acutely aware that the Mysterious Organization would not rest. They had to hasten their search for the Time Eye. Through repeated study of ancient family texts and various clues, they discovered a key piece of information that might point to the location of the Time Eye—a map known as the Ancient Map.
This map was drawn in a very obscure manner, with markings and symbols that seemed utterly perplexing. However, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing gradually deciphered some clues thanks to their previous experiences and their research on the Mysterious Symbol. The map indicated that the Time Eye might be located deep within an ancient mountain range, shrouded in dense forests and heavy mists, filled with unknown dangers.
Without a moment's hesitation, they packed their bags and set off on their quest to find the Time Eye. Following the map's guidance, they traversed desolate deserts and climbed steep peaks until they finally arrived at the mysterious forest.
A strange mist enveloped the forest, and an eerie silence hung in the air, broken only by the sound of their footsteps on the damp ground. Lin Mo and Su Yuqing moved cautiously, ever alert to their surroundings. Suddenly, a low growl echoed from afar, reverberating through the mist and sending chills down their spines.
“Be careful, something is approaching,” Lin Mo whispered, gripping his weapon tightly in preparation for the impending danger.
From the mist emerged a massive black panther, its eyes glinting with a green light, teeth sharp as knives. The panther stared at Lin Mo and Su Yuqing, emitting a series of threatening roars.
Lin Mo took a deep breath and focused his mind, attempting to use his Time-Space Power to intimidate the panther. The Striation on his forehead began to glow faintly; sensing this powerful force, the panther trembled slightly but did not retreat—instead, it lunged forward.
Lin Mo sidestepped swiftly to evade the panther's attack while Su Yuqing picked up a stone from the ground and hurled it at the panther. The stone struck its back, causing it to turn angrily toward Su Yuqing and charge again.
Seeing this, Lin Mo rushed forward without hesitation. His speed was greatly enhanced by the Time-Space Power as he reached the panther in an instant and delivered a powerful punch to its head. The blow left the panther dazed, causing it to fall to the ground. However, it quickly regained its footing, its eyes filled with ferocity.
Just as they were locked in this standoff, Lin Mo noticed something peculiar hanging from the panther's neck—a strange Pendant. The symbol on this Pendant closely resembled the Time-Space Symbol they had studied earlier. A thought sparked in his mind; perhaps this Pendant was connected to the Time Eye.
Deciding to take a risk, Lin Mo concentrated once more and activated his Time-Space Power, entering a special state that greatly enhanced his speed and strength. He dashed toward the panther, dodging its attacks as he seized hold of the Pendant around its neck.
The panther struggled fiercely, but Lin Mo held onto the Pendant tightly. During their tug-of-war, the Pendant suddenly emitted a dazzling light that illuminated the entire forest. Under this radiant glow, the panther gradually calmed down; its fierce demeanor faded away, replaced by a look of submission.
As the light dissipated, Lin Mo was astonished to find that the panther had transformed into a human figure—a man clad in a black robe with a stern face but eyes that revealed gratitude.
“Thank you for breaking my seal,” he said. “I am the guardian of this forest. I was trapped by mysterious forces and transformed into a black panther.”
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing stared at him in disbelief; they had not anticipated such an outcome. Lin Mo handed over the Pendant and asked, “Why does this Pendant possess such immense power? What is its connection to the Time Eye?”
The man took the Pendant and replied, “This Pendant was left by the guardian of the Time Eye; it contains part of its power. The Time Eye is a core hub connecting different times and spaces—it holds power to alter the past, present, and future but also conceals great dangers.”
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing exchanged glances filled with excitement; they had finally found an important clue related to the Time Eye. The man continued, “The Time Eye is hidden within a mysterious space that can only be accessed through specific rituals and keys. The Pendant you hold is one of those keys. However, you will need to find two more keys and solve a series of puzzles and traps to enter.”
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing nodded in agreement; they were ready to accept this challenge. The man was moved by their determination and decided to assist them in finding the other two keys. He led them deeper into the forest where an ancient temple awaited them.
The temple doors were tightly shut, covered in various Mysterious Symbols and patterns. The man said, “One of the keys is hidden within this temple; however, it is filled with dangerous traps and mechanisms—be very careful.”
Taking a deep breath, Lin Mo and Su Yuqing slowly pushed open the temple doors. Behind them lay a dark passageway illuminated by eerie lights flickering on its walls. They cautiously entered, remaining vigilant for any signs of danger.
Suddenly, the ground beneath them began to collapse into a massive pitfall. Quick-thinking Lin Mo grabbed Su Yuqing’s arm and pulled her back just in time. They pressed on but encountered various traps along the way—such as flying arrows and falling boulders—which they skillfully avoided one after another.
Finally reaching the end of the passageway, they found themselves before a large stone platform upon which rested a Blue Light Key radiating an ethereal glow. As Lin Mo stepped forward to pick up the key, symbols on the platform suddenly lit up brightening into an enormous Energy Shield that trapped them inside.
“Oh no! We triggered an even stronger mechanism,” Lin Mo exclaimed.
At that moment, a group of mysterious phantoms appeared outside the Energy Shield, clawing and lunging towards Lin Mo and Su Yuqing. These phantoms possessed immense power, and each attack made the Energy Shield tremble.
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing stood back to back, facing the onslaught of the phantoms together. Lin Mo harnessed his Time-Space Power to enhance his attacks, while Su Yuqing used her intelligence to search for the phantoms' weaknesses.
In the heat of battle, Lin Mo realized that these phantoms seemed to be composed of memories and emotions. He reflected on his own experiences—those moments of pain, joy, and hope that were integral to his life. Suddenly, he understood that to defeat these phantoms, he had to confront his own fears and confusion.
Closing his eyes, Lin Mo focused his mind and recalled every step of his journey. He remembered the efforts he had made to lift the curse, the deep bond he shared with Su Yuqing, and his determination to protect the world. When he opened his eyes again, they shone with unwavering resolve.
He infused his emotions and strength into each attack, each strike imbued with powerful conviction. With his efforts, the phantoms gradually began to dissipate, and the Energy Shield faded away.
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing successfully obtained the second key. With the key in hand, they left the temple and reunited with the Guardian Messenger. The Guardian Messenger informed them that the final key was hidden in a mysterious cave, guarded by a powerful divine beast.
Lin Mo and Su Yuqing felt no fear; they set out on their quest for the last key. They knew that only by gathering all three keys could they unlock the Time Eye, unravel all mysteries, and thwart the plans of the Mysterious Organization. But what formidable power awaited them in that divine beast? Would they be able to secure the key? All remained uncertain.
