"Is that true?" Li Xiyun exclaimed in shock.
"Would I lie to you? I have something else to tell you. Soon, Master Jia will become the patron of our Liu Family. I can take you to meet Master Jia later," Liu Jiyue said.
"Oh." Li Xiyun showed little interest in meeting Master Jia.
"Xiyun, Master Jia is low-key and possesses extraordinary abilities, yet he remains hidden. Unlike some people who think they are exceptional and can act arrogantly. From what I know, no matter how powerful martial arts are, they cannot compete with Magic. So, I advise some people to keep a low profile; don't get too proud or it might backfire," Liu Jiyue said sarcastically, clearly directing his words at Jiang Chen.
"Are you talking about me?" Jiang Chen turned to Liu Jiyue with a faint smile.
"I said some people. If you feel that way, that's not my problem," Liu Jiyue snorted coldly.
"You, a spoiled rich kid, what do you know about martial arts or Magic? My abilities are beyond your imagination," Jiang Chen replied with a light laugh, his tone icy.
"You can tell that to Master Jia later. If you can defeat him, I'll call you grandpa. But if you're not his match, then stop being so arrogant. This isn't the era of cold weapons anymore; what good is your martial skill?" Liu Jiyue continued to provoke Jiang Chen.
"Jiyue, stop talking," Li Xiyun and Liu Toukang both urged simultaneously.
"Mr. Jiang, please don't take it to heart with my brother. He speaks without thinking. I'll definitely teach him a lesson later," Liu Toukang stepped forward and said kindly.
Jiang Chen glanced deeply at Liu Toukang but remained silent, shifting his gaze back to Black Dragon Island.
Jia Xingliang and Tu Li had already reached Black Dragon Island, facing each other with tension in the air.
Both Jia Xingliang and Tu Li were top-tier experts in the Magic realm. Their standoff was like needles against wheat awns, sharp and unyielding. The pressure from their combined presence seemed to weave a storm in the air, creating an oppressive atmosphere that everyone on the cruise ship could feel.
Though they were too far away to see clearly, most people were clever enough to bring binoculars.
On Black Dragon Island, Jia Xingliang and Tu Li faced each other coldly; there was no need for physical combat in their Magic duel.
Jia Xingliang took out a golden talisman paper and activated his magical power. The talisman ignited spontaneously, transforming into a fireball that shot toward Tu Li.
Tu Li let out a cold laugh as a shadow flew out from his black robe and collided with the fireball. This shadow was a wooden talisman.
When they collided, sparks flew and black smoke curled up before ultimately dissipating into the air.
"Heh, as expected by my master, your Southeast Asian Magic still follows the path of evil," Jia Xingliang scoffed upon seeing the black energy within the talisman.
"In Magic, there is only high and low; there is no right or wrong. Defeat me first before discussing anything else," Tu Li retorted sharply, his aura surging as his black robe billowed and his hood fell back, revealing his ghostly visage.
"There are good and bad people; how can there be no right or wrong in magic? My master told you long ago that Magic harms people and ultimately leads nowhere. You came to Huaxia to cultivate yourself properly but didn't listen. I imagine these past thirty years have only worsened your situation; now you are filled with Sha Qi and toxic flames in your heart. You cannot turn back now; today I will rid the Magic realm of this menace," Jia Xingliang declared as he unleashed his aura, a faint golden light soaring into the sky like divine radiance bursting forth.
