The scorching sun shone down on Kei Yunqing, but he didn't feel particularly hot; instead, his body felt pleasantly warm. He looked up at the sun, which was still radiating its light. The stinging sensation he usually felt when looking at the sun was gone, and now he faced it without any discomfort. However, it was no different from how he usually saw the sun. 0

Kei Yunqing entered the company building and took the elevator to the twelfth floor. His workplace, Yuedong, was a company specializing in anime. Yuedong occupied the eleventh to sixteenth floors, with different positions scattered across these levels. 0

As Kei Yunqing exited the elevator and walked toward his desk, he happened to bump into a woman who was hurriedly approaching the elevator while looking at her phone. When she reached him and realized someone was blocking her path, she looked up and smiled upon seeing Kei Yunqing. 0

"Well, our Young Master Ku has finally come to work!" she teased, causing Kei Yunqing to awkwardly touch his nose. 0

This woman was his team leader, Tang Ying. Since Kei Yunqing had been at the company for a while, he was quite familiar with everyone. They all knew that Kei Yunqing was a rich second-generation heir. 0

"Sister Tang, I had something to deal with. I forgot to send a message; I'll definitely do it next time," Kei Yunqing replied with a smile. 0

Tang Ying glanced at her phone and said, "It's fine. Young Master Ku doesn't need to worry about money; even if you have perfect attendance for a month, it’s only five days. I doubt you’re interested in that anyway. I have things to attend to, so I’ll be going now." 0

After teasing Kei Yunqing, Tang Ying hurriedly stepped into the elevator. Watching her hurried figure, Kei Yunqing wondered if there was anything particularly urgent in their team. Not thinking too much about it, he settled into his seat. 0

Nearby, his chubby colleague Wang Tie noticed Kei Yunqing and turned to greet him. 0

"Young Master Ku, you're here? I thought you wouldn't come today," Kei Yunqing said. 0

"I was just busy with some things. I finished up and got here by the afternoon," Wang Tie replied, nodding at Kei Yunqing's words. When there's work to be done, there's not much to say. 0

Kei Yunqing glanced at Wang Tie's computer and noticed he was playing as the Wind Champion in League of Legends. "You’re slacking off at work, and you're still playing so poorly. What’s the point?" 0

Wang Tie looked over, his screen still showing a gray screen. "I've finished my tasks. Can this really be called slacking off? It's just a break, you know?" 0

"Sure, sure, I get it," Kei Yunqing chuckled as he opened his own computer. 0

He checked his email for any messages and found only spam. Just then, Wang Tie approached him again. "Tomorrow, the company is organizing a comic convention with other companies. Are you going?" 0

Kei Yunqing was still looking at his email when he heard Wang Tie's question. He glanced at him and then at his screen, which displayed a massive failure in the game. "I didn't know about it. If I'm interested when I wake up, I'll check it out." 0

As Kei Yunqing spoke, he continued to look through his emails until he clicked on a notification from the company about the comic convention. "This email is how I found out too. We employees don’t need to buy tickets; we can get in with a company certificate." 0

Wang Tie looked at Kei Yunqing's computer screen and said, "It seems pretty standard compared to other conventions, just a larger venue that can accommodate more people." 0
