Having just descended the mountain, Tanjirou would likely not arrive for a while. Should he save his family?
Li Yunqing pondered this. After all, he was merely a traveler. Would interfering in this world’s affairs draw attention? He decided to wait and see what would happen.
Li Yunqing gazed up the mountain. Through Qian Yan, he successfully located Tanjirou's home. The reason for his certainty was simple: there was only one household on the mountain.
He grabbed Sera and Lilu Lu, and with a flash, they appeared in front of the house. Tanjirou's younger siblings were playing in the snow while their mother hurriedly hung clothes out to dry, taking advantage of the clear weather before the snow returned. Nezuko was busy mending clothes.
"Master, is something wrong with this family? Why are we watching them?" Sera asked.
"Nothing much, just that they are about to die," Li Yunqing replied casually.
"Ah? Should we save them?"
Sera glanced at the harmonious Kamado family and then at Li Yunqing, who wore a neutral expression. Deep down, she wanted to help; after all, she came from a church and had a kind heart. Knowing that someone was about to die made her uneasy.
Lilu Lu shared similar sentiments, looking at the happy family with pity.
Li Yunqing gently patted Sera's head. "Do you want to save them? If you do, I will help; if not, we can just watch."
Sera considered Li Yunqing's words and looked at his smiling face. It seemed clear that saving them wouldn’t be difficult.
"I want to save them!" she declared.
"Then let’s do it," Li Yunqing said softly, his eyes warm as he looked at Sera.
Hearing Li Yunqing’s affirmation made Sera happy.
Li Yunqing observed the busy family for a moment before closing his eyes to scan the surroundings. Then he transported himself along with Sera and Lilu Lu to a few Tomb Mounds nearby.
The area around the Tomb Mounds had less snow, likely due to frequent clearing by someone. Next to the gravestones were some wilted flower buds.
Li Yunqing looked at the tombstone, the first one being Tanjiro's, with Kagaya Ubuyashiki's next to it. They were indeed buried not far from Tanjiro's home.
Sera and Lilu Lu, curious about what Li Yunqing had said, asked, "Master, whose tomb is this?"
"Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the creator of Breathing Style Swordsmanship."
"That sounds impressive!"
Li Yunqing gently patted Sera and Lilu Lu on their heads. "Yes, it's impressive. Without the Breathing Techniques he created, many more people in this world would suffer."
"What kind of suffering?"
"There are demons in this world, and Breathing Style Swordsmanship allows people to fight back against them."
"That really is amazing!"
Sera and Lilu Lu glanced at Kagaya Ubuyashiki's tombstone and picked up a nearby wilted flower bud. A green light flickered in their hands as the bud slowly began to bloom.
It revealed a blue-colored Higanbana.
Sera and Lilu Lu curiously looked at the strangely colored flower. "Master, what kind of flower is this? It's blue and so beautiful!"
Li Yunqing glanced at the flower in Sera's hand. "Ah, the Azure Bianhua, a flower that only blooms for two or three days each year during the daytime."
"It only blooms for two or three days a year? That sounds a bit like a night-blooming flower."
Sera and Lilu Lu felt a bit regretful that such a beautiful flower could only bloom for two days.
Seeing their disappointed expressions, Li Yunqing smiled. "Well, you both have plant growth skills, right? If you like it, you can grow more buds and plant them later. If you want them to bloom longer, there's also plant mutation."
"Huh? Can plant mutation change something that only blooms for two days?"
Li Yunqing nodded.
Sera and Lilu Lu happily held hands.
"Great! Let's gather more flowers!"
"Okay, sister!"
