Li Yunqing stood by, watching the harmonious interaction between the two women, and smiled. Under his gaze, they finished all the dishes.
"How was it? Was there enough food? Do you need more?" he asked.
"No, no, we just wanted to finish everything to avoid waste. We really can't eat any more!" Ma Yi and Zhi Ye both shook their heads.
Li Yunqing nodded and, to their surprise, began to clean up all the plates and pack them away. After a moment of thought, he took out two Royal Rings and handed them to the two women.
Ma Yi and Zhi Ye looked at the rings in their hands and then at Li Yunqing. "What is this? A token of affection?"
Seeing them instinctively put the rings on their ring fingers, Li Yunqing chuckled. "No, these are storage rings. You can put things inside them and access them with just a thought."
He tossed them two bottles so they could experiment for themselves. Ma Yi and Zhi Ye each took one and tried to place the bottles into the rings. After a few clumsy attempts, they quickly got the hang of it.
Li Yunqing nodded as he watched their movements. "You can check what's inside the rings; there are various items and equipment, including the clothes you bought that I stored in there."
Ma Yi and Zhi Ye focused their minds on the rings and saw piles of items neatly categorized inside. They only glanced briefly before pulling back their concentration, knowing they had plenty of time to explore later.
Noticing their astonishment at what they saw, Li Yunqing said, "Everything wearable has been enchanted by me. I've placed different strengths of items in there for you to try out. There are also some Skill Books you can study, and this is for you."
With a wave of his hand, a panel-like object appeared before the two women. It was a display similar to what they had seen before from another world, showing their basic attributes and other details.
After being deciphered by Li Yunqing, it could now be freely shared with others. Ma Yi and Zhi Ye looked at it; their basic attributes were all above one hundred, with numbers in the thousands in parentheses next to each attribute.
"What do the numbers in parentheses next to our attributes mean?" they asked curiously.
Ma Yi turned to Li Yunqing and asked.
Li Yunqing glanced at Ma Yi's panel. "That is the attribute of the equipment you are wearing."
"Equipment?" Ma Yi looked down at herself. The only item she had was the Royal Ring that Li Yunqing had just given them, and there wasn't much else.
"Yes, the Royal Ring adds a few attributes, just a couple of thousand. But the skirts you are wearing have been modified and enchanted by me; their attributes are quite good."
Ma Yi and Zhi Ye looked down at their skirts, then exchanged glances.
"So, this beautiful skirt is actually a piece of divine equipment?"
But then they remembered the multitude of items within the Royal Ring, and both fell into deep thought.
Seeing the two girls lost in contemplation, Li Yunqing smiled, took their hands, and led them toward the sofa.
He sat down in the middle, with Sera and Lilu Lu each hugging one of his arms. Xiao Yagui was also sitting on Li Yunqing's lap, as he enjoyed holding her close.
Meanwhile, Ma Yi settled next to Sera.
Sera glanced at Ma Yi, who was watching television. She freed one hand and wrapped it around Ma Yi's waist, pulling her closer against her chest.
Feeling Sera's embrace without resistance, Ma Yi leaned her head against Sera's chest. At that moment, two thoughts filled her mind:
So soft! So big!
"Thank you, Sister Sera."
"No need," Sera replied.
Ma Yi looked up at Sera, who was gazing back at her with warmth. To her surprise, she felt her cheeks flush slightly.
