Shinobu Kocho glanced at Li Yunqing with a hint of shyness, slowly undressing.
"Alright, take this. After you eat it, you'll start to feel drowsy and will wake up in a few hours. Your body will fully recover and become even stronger," he said.
Shinobu watched as Li Yunqing poured a fragrant pill from a small bottle into his hand. Without thinking much, she took the Washing Essence Pill from him, gave him a quick look, and swallowed it.
Within seconds, Shinobu fell into a state of unconsciousness, her body twitching occasionally.
Li Yunqing used the telekinesis he had acquired earlier to lift Shinobu into the air. He took out an iron box, preparing to catch the toxins that would be expelled from her body later. Although there would be other impurities mixed in, it was no big deal; perhaps the toxicity would be even stronger.
As the effects of the Washing Essence Pill began to take hold, dark purple-black substances started to emerge from Shinobu's pristine skin. Li Yunqing guided his telekinesis down along her body, carefully scraping off the substances and depositing them into the iron box.
The purple-black matter increased in quantity, gradually decreasing over time. Eventually, after several minutes, only sporadic amounts would emerge.
After the last scraping, Shinobu slowly began to awaken. As she came to, she felt as if something was caressing her body. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was floating in mid-air without any clothing on and nothing was actually touching her.
Seeing that Shinobu was awake, Li Yunqing approached her and gently embraced her before lowering her down.
Shinobu had been preoccupied with her own nudity but now noticed Li Yunqing's figure. Blushing at the thought of her bare body, she clung tightly to him.
"No! Where are my clothes?"
"They're over there on the chair," he replied.
Shinobu looked over and saw her clothes neatly folded on the chair. She covered Li Yunqing's eyes with one hand while using the other to pull him closer to the chair.
Dressing with one hand proved to be inconvenient, and feeling shy made her mind a bit foggy. Instead of asking Li Yunqing for help, she called downstairs for Ma Yi and Zhi Ye to come assist her.
As she struggled with one hand at her waist, Li Yunqing gently removed her hand from his eyes.
Shinobu Kocho felt a bit shy as she glanced at Li Yunqing. He chuckled softly, reassuring her, "It's not like you haven't seen it before. You were unconscious for nearly two hours, and I was right here."
"Mm," she replied, still unable to meet his gaze. Li Yunqing smiled and gently took her sleeve, helping her put it on before wrapping his arms around her waist from behind.
As Shinobu leaned into Li Yunqing's embrace, she inhaled his pleasant scent and found herself momentarily lost in thought. It seemed she had indeed been drawn to him and had developed feelings for him.
Li Yunqing adjusted her waist and tidied up the clothes she had hastily put on in her flustered state. Seeing his gentle demeanor made Shinobu smile unconsciously.
"What are you laughing at?" Li Yunqing asked, noticing her smile as he continued to fix her outfit. He looked up at her, curious.
Shinobu reached out and touched his face lightly. "It's nothing. I just think I've started to like you."
"I feel the same way," he replied, feeling the warmth of her hand against his skin. After ensuring her clothes were properly arranged, he stood up and took her hand, leading her outside.
"Let's go; it's time for dinner. You just finished washing up, so you must be a bit hungry."
"I am feeling a little hungry," she admitted, not pulling away from his grasp as she followed him, one hand resting on her stomach.
When they reached the living room, Sera and Lilu Lu had already returned and were sitting on the sofa watching television with Maiya Aki.
"Ah, you're all back?" Li Yunqing called out.
At the sound of his voice, several girls turned to look at them. Upon seeing Li Yunqing holding Shinobu's hand as they walked down together, they showed no surprise. Knowing that Li Yunqing had been at the Butterfly House these past few days, they understood that Shinobu would surely join them soon.
I'm back! The Hashira have all completed their challenges!
