If there truly was someone they were meant to serve, then the strength of the Old Celestial Master was beyond imagination. The Old Celestial Master waved his hand.
"That will be all for today; I need to entertain my guests."
Although the Old Celestial Master was easygoing, his reputation in the realm of extraordinary beings was thunderous. The members of the Yao Xing Society had nothing to say about it.
"Lingyu, please take care of the other guests for me."
"Yes, Master." Zhang Lingyu glanced at Sera and the others before departing.
The Old Celestial Master approached Sera and Lilu Lu. "You must be from the Yunqing Sect? I apologize for not welcoming you properly."
Sera and her companions noticed the Old Celestial Master coming over, exchanged glances, and it was Sera who spoke up. Following the etiquette she had learned in these past few days among extraordinary beings, she bowed respectfully to the Old Celestial Master.
As the founder of Luo Tian Da Jiao, he was not one to stand on ceremony. "Guests are always welcome; since you have come, you must be treated well."
"There’s no need for such formality, Old Celestial Master. Our sect will also be arriving soon, and at that time, you can discuss matters with us," Sera replied.
"Your sect?" The Old Celestial Master's eyes brightened slightly as he noticed Zhang Chulan and Wang Ye approaching from another direction.
"In that case, please inform your sect that I would like to speak with them when they arrive. My disciple has come; I would like to have a word with him," he said.
Sera and her companions watched as the Old Celestial Master moved toward Zhang Chulan, realizing that this was part of the unfolding events. They glanced at the other extraordinary beings, who were already heading toward the back mountain.
Luo Tian Da Jiao was holding its gathering at the back mountain. Sera and her group wasted no time and followed suit toward the back mountain.
The Old Celestial Master had already encountered Wang Ye.
"Wang Ye, greetings to the Old Celestial Master!" Wang Ye performed a respectful fist salute towards the Old Celestial Master.
The Old Celestial Master glanced at Wang Ye. "Ah, it's you, Wang Ye. How is your Master’s health?"
"Old Celestial Master, look who I’ve brought with me," Wang Ye replied, not engaging in the customary pleasantries.
The Old Celestial Master turned to Zhang Chulan beside him. "So it’s Zhang Chulan, is it? Call me Master."
Zhang Chulan looked at the Old Celestial Master with some confusion.
"Your grandfather has passed down the Thunder Technique and the Golden Light Spell from Longhu Mountain to you; calling me Master is not unjustified."
Zhang Chulan's eyes shimmered for a moment. "Master."
At that moment, Li Yunqing was sitting atop a large bird, accompanied by a beautiful woman behind him.
The giant bird was something Li Yunqing had discovered while passing through a forest, where some magnetic disturbances and peculiar tree leaves concealed its presence. To the outside world, it appeared to be an ordinary forest.
Upon entering, Li Yunqing immediately spotted a group of extraordinary beasts, with the giant bird being one of the rulers among them. The bird had jet-black feathers and resembled an eagle, with a wingspan of nearly ten meters.
Using his personal charm, Li Yunqing managed to have the giant bird follow him and named it Hei Yu. The woman accompanying him was a mermaid he had encountered in an underwater city, where all the inhabitants had human upper bodies and fish tails. The mermaid guards did not attack upon seeing Li Yunqing.
After all, a human who can enter the depths of the sea relying solely on their own strength must possess remarkable abilities.
Eventually, Li Yunqing and the Merman Prince untangled their fateful connection. After discussing matters with the Merfolk King, Li Yunqing took the Merman Prince and left the underwater realm.
The Mermaid Kingdom currently lacked outstanding young individuals; the males were in their prime, and if they continued to stay in the depths, they would grow old. Therefore, there were no objections to Li Yunqing bringing the Merman Prince along.
The Merfolk were amphibious creatures and could still breathe air. To facilitate the Merman Prince's life on land, Li Yunqing transformed his fish tail into human legs. Although it felt strange at first, he eventually adapted.
When they appeared by the seaside, Li Yunqing checked the time and realized they still had some left. He then took the Merman Prince and sat on Hei Yu, heading towards Luo Tian Da Jiao.
