Li Tianqi felt a slight tingling and a bit of pain on his skin, but aside from that, he didn't experience much else.
Li Yunqing, hearing Li Tianqi's words, smiled and explained, "The Purple Thunder Spike's natural thunder is not very powerful; it mainly serves to assist in reflecting damage back to its attackers. When it transforms into Red Thunder or Black Thunder, its power significantly increases, but changing into other types of thunder requires considerable opportunity."
After listening to Li Yunqing, Li Tianqi nodded and glanced at the Wild Beast nearby, which was looking at him in confusion. The Wild Beast remembered that even creatures larger than itself had suffered painfully from his Zi Lei. Why was this tiny creature before it, resembling an ant, showing no reaction at all?
Li Tianqi stretched his body and then charged toward the Purple Thunder Spike. Seeing that his Zi Lei had no effect, the Purple Thunder Spike thought its teeth should be fine and curled up into a ball, transforming into a spiky sphere.
Li Tianqi smiled at the spiky ball before him; this was exactly what he wanted! He punched the spikes of the Purple Thunder Spike. The spikes were incredibly sharp, and even with his skin having been reinforced through Yao Yu's absorption and training, they pierced through easily. However, they did not completely penetrate his palm, as the bones in his hand stopped them.
The other children watched in horror as Li Tianqi's hand was pricked by the sharp spikes. "Is Tian Qi okay? Those spikes look so thick and long; just looking at them makes me feel pain!"
"Uncle Yunqing?" The children glanced at Li Yunqing and saw him still smiling as he watched the scene unfold. It seemed that Tian Qi could handle it after all.
The Purple Thunder Spike was also bewildered. Its spikes looked formidable; how could this little person dare to attack them? Just moments ago, it had thought that this little one's arms were thinner than the gaps between its spikes.
Although confused about why Li Tianqi would attack its spikes directly, the Purple Thunder Spike feared some sort of trickery. So it curled up even tighter.
Li Tianqi slowly retracted his fist and examined it. Aside from the blood, there were no visible puncture wounds. He smiled, realizing that Purple Thunder Spike was indeed a good companion!
With renewed determination, he continued to attack Purple Thunder Spike relentlessly! Each strike landed on the sharp spikes of the creature! His palms were continuously pierced, yet they healed almost instantly!
Li Yunqing watched as Li Tianqi bled but kept attacking without hesitation, nodding in approval. To possess Immortal Bone, one must first learn not to fear pain. The Eternal Undying Bone, compared to ordinary Immortal Bone, not only had greater healing abilities but also the unique trait of becoming stronger after sustaining injuries. Thus, it required an even greater tolerance for pain and the willingness to get hurt.
Li Tianqi had not cried out even once; it was safe to say he was unafraid of pain. Although his body resembled that of a four-year-old, his actual age was barely two. It was impossible for him not to fear pain. Children are naturally afraid of pain, regardless of their maturity.
Shi Hao also feared pain; when he got hurt, he would express it vocally. The children of Shi Village were no different; they would wail at the slightest bump or scrape. However, aside from their initial cries at birth, Li Tianqi and Li Qinghu had never cried afterward. Beyond their unique physical constitutions and inherent strengths, they possessed a mental resilience that set them apart from ordinary children.
The children inherited a portion of Li Yunqing's immense Spiritual Power, which contributed to their remarkable intelligence compared to their peers. This heightened awareness led them to ponder their father's thoughts at such a young age.
As Li Tianqi continued to punch, he grew faster with each strike. The wounds healed almost immediately after leaving the spikes, only for him to hit again. Eventually, Li Tianqi broke one of the spikes! He paused to look at the fallen spike on the ground and then back at his fist.
