The Dark Wolf Pack was remarkably patient. They had been outside Ye Feihong's farm for a long time, watching as their companion struggled within. The sound of its wailing echoed through the air, growing weaker as the vines tightened around it. The Dark Wolf trapped on Ye Feihong's farm was finding it increasingly difficult to breathe, its cries fading into silence.
The pack before him stood still, neither advancing nor retreating. Ye Feihong, positioned at the High-Rise Ruins, furrowed his brow. This Dark Wolf Pack was unlike what he had read about before. Were dark creatures not supposed to be mindlessly aggressive and merciless killers? Why did this pack seem so peculiar?
Despite the strangeness of the situation, Ye Feihong refrained from unleashing his plants to attack. The leader of the wolf pack began to pace slowly, then suddenly let out a long howl that pierced the silence. At that signal, the wolves behind it charged forward in unison. They sprinted at incredible speed, their formation remaining perfectly organized. Ye Feihong observed that they grouped in threes, providing cover for one another as they advanced.
Rushing into the outermost area of the Farm Owner, the Dark Wolf Pack immediately began to gnaw at the vines on the ground. In just a few seconds, three vines had been bitten into dozens of pieces before being taken down by the wolves. Ye Feihong did not rush to make a move; instead, he focused on the remaining vines, directing them to attack the wolf pack. He was waiting, biding his time until all the wolves entered the attack range of the Pea Gatling.
Ye Feihong's patience paid off as he watched the vines quickly clear away. All the Dark Wolves excitedly entered Ye Feihong's domain. In one corner, several Grape Vines began to drop their grapes at Ye Feihong's command, unleashing a toxic mist that struck half of the wolf pack. The wolves began to foam at the mouth and collapsed to the ground, poisoned.
Two Peashooters and a Cabbage initiated the first wave of ranged attacks. Boom! Boom! Boom! The sound of explosions echoed as over a dozen Dark Wolves were sent flying. The terrifying power of the Peashooters was beyond what these lowly dark creatures could withstand.
Following that, eight Pea Gatlings unleashed a barrage on the remaining wolves, who were left bewildered by such an unprecedented assault.
Some of the Dark Wolves charged forward, while others sought a hole to hide in. A portion of them wanted to flee alongside the Wolf King. Unfortunately, no matter which direction they chose, their efforts were destined to be in vain.
When they arrived, it seemed that only a few vines lay before the Dark Wolves. However, in the shadows, those wolves saw the ruins and crevices where Ye Feihong had already gathered over a hundred remaining vines, completely surrounding them.
These vines didn’t need to engage in battle with the Dark Wolves; they simply needed to entangle them and prevent their escape. The rest was left to the Pea Gatling. With its incredibly rapid firing rate, the Pea Gatling could launch dozens of peas in just one second, swiftly reaping the lives of the Dark Wolf Pack.
Leading the charge was the Wolf King, who fought fiercely for survival. It quickly bit through the vines that ensnared its legs and skillfully dodged dozens of attempts to block its path. With great speed, it raced toward Ye Feihong's Farm Owner, desperate to escape.
