Two days later, Ye Feihong had covered all the bunkers with metal sheets. At the same time, he had stored some Sunlight Energy in preparation for the impending attack from the dark creatures the following day. He went to bed early, ready to face whatever challenges awaited him.
The next morning, Ye Feihong stood atop the tallest bunker in the Farm Owner's domain. This was the center of Ye Feihong Farm and also the most defensible location. Inside this bunker were all his formidable plants: a Pea Missile, a Peashooter, and a Frozen Cabbage. Together with numerous Peashooter Turrets, they formed the strongest bunker imaginable.
Built upon the foundation of the former High-Rise Ruins, Ye Feihong had utilized a vast amount of construction materials to erect this bunker, which soared to thirty meters high, equivalent to ten stories. Within the Farm Owner's area, there were four additional bunkers positioned at the four cardinal directions to counter the upcoming attack from the dark creatures.
Using over two hundred thousand Dian Ling Neng he had on hand, Ye Feihong produced an additional four thousand Peashooters and several Cabbages, consuming a total of ten thousand Dian Ling Neng in the process. Currently, he still had ten thousand Spiritual Energy remaining. It wasn't that he didn't want to generate more plants; despite consuming a large number of seeds over the past few days, he was limited in his production capabilities.
However, he could not rapidly enhance his Mental Power. Commanding an army of nearly ten thousand plants was already the limit for Ye Feihong. The only regret was that he still had only two War Trees. This was because the Spiritual Energy required for a War Tree was simply too much.
To nurture a Pea Seed, it only consumed ten Dian Ling Neng. However, nurturing a Cabbage Seed required as much as two hundred Dian Ling Neng. Yet, to nurture a single seed of a War Tree, it astonishingly required ten thousand Dian Ling Neng. The remaining Dian Ling Neng that Ye Feihong had was clearly not worth using to create a War Tree. It would be more cost-effective to use some sunlight and directly replicate a War Tree.
As the number of his Sunflowers increased, the Sunlight Energy available to Ye Feihong also grew. Now, he could harness some sunlight each day. If he could withstand this siege of dark creatures, Ye Feihong would soon have enough Sunflowers to upgrade the numerous plants among the Farm Owners directly using Sunlight Energy.
Ye Feihong stood at the highest point in the center of the Farm Owner's territory, gazing into the distant canyon. A dense swarm of insects filled the area, moving rapidly through the canyon. Ye Feihong strained to search with his telescope.
After consuming a large number of plant seeds, Ye Feihong's vision had strengthened. Most importantly, what he was using now was no longer a small Pocket Telescope but rather a Second Level Airdrop Support.
He gifted him a Greatly Monocular, equipped with double optical zoom. This allowed Ye Feihong to clearly see scenes ten kilometers away. Soon, Ye Feihong locked onto his target. About ten kilometers ahead, several massive Mammoths were surrounded by a group of Kowtow Monsters.
After identifying the target, Ye Feihong immediately issued an attack order for the Pea Missile. This was the farthest-reaching plant in his arsenal. The Kowtow Monsters posed the greatest threat among this wave of creatures, far more dangerous than the Mammoths. It wasn't that the Kowtow Monsters were stronger than the Mammoths; rather, there were simply too few Mammoths. With such a small number, two War Trees could easily hold them off.
However, the situation was different with the Kowtow Monsters. With nearly ten thousand of these ranged attackers, they posed a significant threat to the plants within the Bunkers of Ye Feihong's Farm Owner domain.
