Once, my favorite was a Farmer from the Eagle Head Kingdom. His name was Bei Ye, and he led the charge against Zombies. The environment where Bei Ye operated was quite similar to that of his fellow Farmers, as they both guarded a portal. The difference was that Bei Ye and his comrades were part of a collective effort involving thousands of Farmers, while the Heaven Gate was solely defended by Ye Feihong.
Lu Xiaoman's understanding of this situation stemmed not only from her innate talent and hard work but also from her interest in observing the battles of other Farmers. However, after connecting to the internet and habitually entering Bei Ye's realm to fight Zombies, the excitement she once felt had faded completely.

From some straightforward observations, Ye Feihong had already concluded that for most nations, resisting dark creatures was becoming increasingly difficult. Take the Shahao Kingdom, for example. Their food rations had been reduced to just four taels per day, barely enough to keep people from starving. Such a reduction indicated that their arable land had diminished once again. Although it was unclear what kind of enemies they faced or whether their frontlines had collapsed—information that was not available online—Ye Feihong could sense the dire state of the Shahao Kingdom simply from the food distribution.
By piecing together various snippets of news from the internet, Ye Feihong made a rough estimation of the situation in different countries, particularly focusing on the strength of those surrounding the Dragon Kingdom. The circumstances appeared to be even more alarming than he had anticipated. He discovered that not only was Sakura Country on the brink of disaster, but Nanyue Kingdom also seemed to be unstable.
After reading the news, Ye Feihong secretly made a resolution to become stronger as soon as possible. He was now one of the few who could obtain a large amount of Spiritual Energy as a Farmer.
With his own Spiritual Energy, he could distribute seeds to more Farmers in need. In the future, Ye Feihong not only had to protect Heaven Gate on his own but also needed to assist other Farmers in safeguarding the Eastern Defense Line and the Southern Defense Line.
The fate of other countries was not his concern. The Dragon Kingdom had to survive this catastrophe.
