One day, early in the morning, it was once again time for the dark creatures known as Siege. Sitting atop the highest point of the Bunker at the center of the Farm Owner's domain, things had changed since he acquired walnuts. His meals had become abundant, featuring not only a rich breakfast but also walnuts as a snack.
Around Ye Feihong, several vines placed a few walnuts beneath the massive head of the Carnivorous Vine. With a powerful strike, the Carnivorous Vine smashed down on the walnuts, instantly crushing a dozen of them. The vines then carefully placed the walnut kernels onto a plate in front of Ye Feihong.
This ability was something Ye Feihong had only recently gained. Although he had always been able to control various plants, his Mental Power had previously been insufficient for such precise maneuvers. During this time, Ye Feihong's primary focus each day was simply to eat as much as he could. The specific number of Brain Worms was calculated to be thirteen. They resembled soda cans with their cylindrical bodies and could only crawl slowly on the ground using a row of short legs. Despite their appearance, which posed no immediate threat, these dark creatures became one of the nightmares for Blue Star due to their skills granted by Zi Wu. Since Blue Star invented Heat Weapons hundreds of years ago, they had become increasingly unskilled in close combat.
