Humans are one of the few life forms on Blue Star that lack any offensive organs. This has led many to believe that humans are not native to Blue Star. Fortunately, archaeology has uncovered a wealth of evidence regarding Homo sapiens. Research indicates that humans have existed for two million years. As they learned to cultivate plants and absorbed a significant amount of sugars, their brain capacity expanded from a few milliliters to several hundred milliliters, tripling in size.
Humans did not continue to evolve offensive organs because the increase in brain capacity allowed them to gradually learn how to create weapons. Early hominids used throwing spears, which evolved into ancient bows and crossbows, and eventually into modern firearms and tanks. Human evolution has been characterized by the continuous invention of increasingly powerful ranged weapons.
