Early in the morning, Ye Feihong commanded his Bamboo Dragonfly army to set off. The Communication Device marked the movements of all dark creatures. Though it was referred to as a wave, it was entirely different from the dark creatures at Heaven Gate. This was because there was a long canyon in front of the portal, and this wave of dark creatures gathered from all directions.
Their formation was not only chaotic but also comprised over a dozen factions, each with numbers ranging from tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand. After taking photographs with the Reconnaissance Satellite, the Supercomputer had already designated a route for Ye Feihong. All he needed to do was follow the specified path.
With a Bamboo Dragonfly overhead, Ye Feihong set out with his Plant Army. After an hour, he encountered the first group of dark creatures. They had green skin and resembled humans in shape, but their hands and forearms were like saws. Their faces featured bulging eyes that nearly occupied half of their faces, while their mouths were small, revealing four sharp teeth.
These dark creatures were known as Mantis Men. Like the Mantis Men, they possessed a pair of serrated foreclaws, but they did not have wings. Upon seeing these Mantis Men, they quickly noticed Ye Feihong's army and emitted excited sounds—squeaks that resembled those of mice.
Excitedly, Ye Feihong rushed forward. With a wave of his hand, the Bamboo Dragonflies formed up and began to spread out in a line. In front of Ye Feihong, four Bamboo Dragonflies grouped together, with a Corn Cannon positioned beneath them.
The Corn Cannon was quite large, requiring four Bamboo Dragonflies to lift a single one. Next to the Corn Cannon, two Bamboo Dragonflies hovered above, equipped with the long-range Pea Missiles.
The Mantis Men were still several kilometers away from Ye Feihong but had already entered the firing range of the Corn Cannons and Pea Missiles. Ten Corn Cannons and ten Pea Missiles initiated their attacks.
These Mantis Men were extremely agile, capable of moving quickly across hills and valleys. However, even their nimble bodies could not evade the coverage of the Corn Cannons' firepower. Not to mention, the Pea Missiles could track their targets automatically.
Before the tens of thousands of Mantis Men could reach Ye Feihong, they had already suffered heavy casualties. As they closed in within the final five hundred meters, thousands of Pea Gatlings unleashed a barrage of firepower.
With rapid-fire bursts, the Pea Gatlings swiftly harvested the lives of these Mantis Men. In just a matter of seconds, any Mantis Men that managed to get close to Ye Feihong were completely wiped out.
This time, the goal was to eliminate a million dark creatures. Ye Feihong naturally brought along his most powerful plants. He didn't bother with ordinary Peashooters or similar plants. Through the Reconnaissance Satellite, Ye Feihong had already learned in advance that these dark creatures did not possess any high-level units. There were no Brain Worms, Dark Colossi, or Mammoths among them. Instead, they were all fast-moving, agile dark creatures.
