Rolling down the hillside, gaining speed from the steep slope, it transformed into a fierce projectile. Below, the Dark Lions immediately spotted Liu Meili and Wang Mazi. Faced with the Thorn Team's attack, they showed no signs of panic. Their thick hides could easily withstand the sharp spikes of the Thorn.

The Thornballs reached the bottom of the valley, easily blocked by the Dark Lions, who wore mocking smiles that looked quite sinister. Suddenly, these Thornballs ignited fiercely, shooting dozens of fiery tongues in all directions. This change occurred because, before the battle began, Liu Meili had used her telescope to observe the group of Dark Lions from a distance.
A few days earlier, Ye Feihong had distributed some fine wine he had acquired to all the Farm Owners in the mountainous area. Before the Dark Lions arrived, Liu Meili and Wang Mazi had fed these Thornballs with the wine, transforming them into flaming Thornballs capable of killing powerful Dark Lions.
The Dark Lions had encountered many Dark Thorns before. These were plants produced in the Western Regions. The Dark Plants posed no threat to them at all. Thus, they easily allowed the Thornballs to reach their vicinity. Liu Meili and Wang Mazi were equally surprised. How could these Dark Lions be so foolish? They showed no signs of dodging or defending themselves and fell right into the midst of the blazing Fire Sea.
Below them, in the valley, the cries of the wounded Dark Lions echoed. The two of them could not let such an opportunity slip by when it came to roasting these fire-burned lions. They immediately commanded their ranged plants to attack.
Aside from the Dark Wild Boars, the largest wave of dark creatures consisted of over two hundred thousand Dark Wolves, advancing toward Lu Xiaoman's position. Lu Xiaoman was situated among a dozen Farm Owners, so her focus was on developing long-range attacking plants that could support the surrounding Farm Owners.
Under Lu Xiaoman's command, the dozen Farm Owners coordinated their defense and managed to hold back the massive Dark Wolf Pack outside their territory. Wang Er, Zhang San, and Ku Si were the luckiest among them. The three of them had been the boldest, being the closest to Heaven Gate aside from Ye Feihong. Now, they found themselves in a secure position with not a single dark creature nearby.
A large number of Farm Owners stood in their way. The unluckiest among them was Huang Youfu. He had narrowly escaped several waves of dark creatures, but now he could not evade the Dark Goats that appeared before him.
These Dark Goats were known for their penchant for roaming the mountains. One of them happened to pass by Huang Youfu's cave and caught a whiff of the Dark Walnut's scent. Despite its thick shell, the aroma of the Dark Walnut was faint, yet this particular Dark Goat was close enough to detect it.
Baa baa baa! It let out an excited bleat. A group of goats began to gnaw at the thick shell of the Dark Walnut, blocking the entrance to the cave.
