One could obtain the desired metals from the earth by sifting through useful ores. This task required the cooperation of Dwarves and Night Elves. Although Ye Feihong understood the basic knowledge of metallurgy—knowing which stones were ores and which were just ordinary rocks—he struggled to identify them unless they were high in gold content, like fool's gold, which was easy to recognize.
For other types of stones, Ye Feihong could distinguish between rocks and ores, but these tasks were naturally left to the Dwarves and Night Elves. The Night Elves were particularly nimble. Ye Feihong taught them how to control their vine abilities, allowing them to sift through the stones and present the findings to the Dwarves, who would decide which stones would be transported back to the Farm Owner.
These stones would then be placed into the Furnace Destiny Tree. The Metal Vein operation was quickly getting on track. It appeared as though a group of plants, Dwarves, and Night Elves were all working together efficiently. Ye Feihong even felt that their productivity surpassed that of many factories, as typical human factories required numerous processes for mining and selecting ores.
In just half an hour, over ten tons of ore appeared before Ye Feihong. He carefully controlled the vines to weave a net, wrapping around the ores to secure them.
"Bring the Bamboo Dragonfly and help me carry these ores," Ye Feihong said, quickly flying towards his farm. The efficiency of their work was impressive. Before night fell, he had extracted tons of various metals. The quantity looked substantial, with the metal-to-water ratio being generally around one to two. A ton of assorted alloys actually amounted to just about ten cubic meters.
During dinner time, a dozen War Trees, dwarves, and Night Elves all enjoyed fine wine together. These dwarves were fervently passionate about blacksmithing, working tirelessly without a break. With the aid of the Furnace Destiny Tree, they radiated a bright light as they continuously swung their hammers. The rhythmic clanging echoed late into the night at the Blacksmith's Anvil.
Now, Ye Feihong's farm had expanded significantly. His dwarven workers were willing to put in extra hours without demanding payment. Such diligent workers were hard to come by, and naturally, Ye Feihong would not force them to rest. He did not see himself as a Black-hearted Factory Boss at all.
Instead, Ye Feihong chose a room far from the Blacksmith's Anvil castle as his sleeping quarters. In truth, even if it were closer, it wouldn’t matter much. His room was not only soundproof but also equipped with an incredibly luxurious sound system.
The sound system played a beautiful melody as Ye Feihong lay on the comfortable bed, drifting into a peaceful slumber.
Early in the morning, Ye Feihong had just opened the door to his room, preparing to freshen up before breakfast. A group of dwarves eagerly awaited him at the entrance, their excitement palpable. They were clad in a complete set of armor, showcasing their craftsmanship with a majestic Tang Dao and a heavy metal bow.
As soon as they saw Ye Feihong emerge, the dwarves exclaimed, "Honorable Forge King, we have specially crafted these weapons for you!"
This lively group of dwarves was truly a bunch of energetic young men. Not only had they worked late into the night, but they were also brimming with enthusiasm so early in the day.
Ye Feihong naturally could not refuse their warm hospitality. With the gentle assistance of the Moon Priestess, he donned the impressive armor.
