These new types of Brain Worms were powerful, but they had completely abandoned their physical bodies. Without the assistance of other Dark Worms, they were unable to move their own bodies. Dark Brainworms also relied on their formidable Mental Power to fight. The other organs in their bodies had completely degenerated to avoid energy consumption, allowing their massive heads to possess terrifying Mental Power. They controlled the realm of Dark Swarm. However, their weaknesses were equally evident. Once someone got close, they had no ability to escape.
The illusions created by a dozen Brain Worms could indeed ensnare others, causing them to plummet from thousands of meters in the air. However, when faced with Ye Feihong, a master of Mental Power as well, their final defense proved utterly useless. Confronted with the energy-filled Tang Dao in Ye Feihong's hands, they showed no resistance and were swiftly killed.
As for the control over Dark Brainworms, all dark creatures became frenzied and irrational. The Dark Nest Lord that Ye Feihong encountered also accelerated madly, flying towards the distant Castle Farm.
Following Ye Feihong and the Bamboo Dragonfly Army, a few seconds later, Ye Feihong found himself trapped in an illusion. The massive onslaught of Dark Void Radiance Ships had devastated the area, leaving only Ye Feihong and the Watcher in the rear.
As they gazed at the Dark Nest Lord, it moved into attack range, preparing to launch parasites towards Castle Farm. A swarm of Dark Void Radiance Ships targeted them, focusing their assault on Ye Feihong and the Watcher. With no control over his Mental Power, Ye Feihong knew that the plants within the Farm Owner would not retaliate on their own.
Seeing this dire situation, Ye Feihong quickly instructed, "You handle those Dark Void Radiance Ships." He realized he had no time to deal with the airborne units; he needed to activate Castle Farm's defenses as soon as possible.
Using the Sprite in his possession, Ye Feihong swiftly initiated the defense mechanisms of Castle Farm. Meanwhile, a large number of dwarves utilized abundant Mithril and the magical powers of the Elven race to inscribe a massive Defensive Rune within Castle Farm. Powered by Energy Stones, a colossal Barrier emerged above Ye Feihong's Castle Farm, blocking a significant portion of the parasite attacks.
The parasites that fell outside of Ye Feihong's Castle Farm began to turn on each other, unable to absorb any nutrients and resorting to infighting.
Half a minute later, all were dead.
Blade Storm and Shadow Strike were used in quick succession, as the Watcher swiftly eliminated the surrounding Dark Void Radiance Ships.
Dozens of Dark Nest Lords launched their first attack, but it was ineffective. However, they were under the control of the Dark Brainworms. They would not do anything else but continue their frenzied assault.
A barrage of Pea Missiles and Mabiji Guanchang retaliated against them. Without the Dark Brainworms, they were merely targets.
The Dark Nest Lords, larger than Thunder Beasts, had average Defense Power. They lacked the thick armor of the Dark Thunder Beasts. Their massive size meant that it took thousands of Pea Missiles to bring them down.
