They had always relied on importing minerals from other countries. Eventually, international trade came to a halt. They simply did not have enough resources to produce such weak superheroes. However, the Farm Owners in the Second Line of Defense could only wait for their plants to reproduce seeds, praying for a stroke of luck to obtain a small number of Mutant Seeds. They chose to establish Farm Owners in the second defensive circle.
In pursuit of a better life, they even developed a tourism activity where visitors could pay to watch battles at the First Line of Defense up close from their Farm Owners. Many people from the Eagle Head Kingdom enjoyed this thrilling experience, which meant that those stationed at the Second Line of Defense were no longer warriors facing dark creatures; they were merely merchants in a tourist hotspot—people unprepared for war.
Initially, many of their plants were cultivated for combat purposes, but over time, in their quest for profit, they became ornamental instead. Each person's estate was beautifully constructed.
In order to attract more tourists, this further resulted in their combat effectiveness being extremely low. If it weren't for the strong support from the army behind the Eagle Head Kingdom, relying solely on these Farm Owners would certainly not be enough to hold the line.
This battle not only failed to enhance the reputation of the Eagle Head Kingdom or make it greater; instead, it strengthened the resolve of both the Maple Leaf Kingdom and Kangaroo Country to draw a clear boundary with the Eagle Head Kingdom. Their combat capability was even worse than that of the Farm Owners from A San Country. They still wanted to act as our big brother? What a dream!
