Under the guidance of Bayonetta, the Gigantic Ford surged forward rapidly. Their movements quickly drew the attention of a multitude of Dark Angels. Like a swarm of locusts, they descended upon the Gigantic Ford.
Bayonetta immediately drew her pistols, ready to engage in battle on the deck. However, Ye Feihong stopped her, saying, "These minor characters can be handled by my subordinates."
Indeed, this was a strange world. The lowest tier of combatants were the Dark Angels, resembling humans but with rat heads and wings. Their combat power was only equivalent to that of a Dark Colossus. Compared to the Swarm World, they were already a formidable breed.
Yet, the most powerful beings were those resembling dragons from the Dragon Kingdom, sporting a pair of wings. Their level capped at Level Ten, which was significantly weaker than Zerg Queen Kerrigan. Moreover, their numbers were far fewer than those in the Swarm World. However, their individual combat strength was substantial, making it an excellent opportunity to harvest experience.
The Gigantic Ford began its assault. The weak rat-headed angels became the targets for the Gigantic Ford, while the larger and higher-level Dark Angels were left for a few subordinates to upgrade. These Experience Books could not be allowed to fall into Bayonetta's hands. The Moon Priestess's Moon God Arrow was at stake.
The Shadow of the Watcher struck with precision. The Dwarf King's Storm Hammer crashed down, while the Dwarf Sniper unleashed his Assassination Skill. They acted in unison, their levels soaring over thirty higher than their opponents. The Dark Angels stood no chance; one skill was enough to take down a foe.
Bayonetta, standing behind Ye Feihong, watched in sheer terror. From the very beginning, Sister Bae had been fearless, constantly engaged in battle. Yet the formidable fighting power of the few before them sent chills down Bayonetta's spine. They were simply too powerful.
While Bayonetta could win against the Dark Angels, it was far from the ease with which the Moon Priestess and her allies handled them. A single shot could eliminate a terrifying Supreme Dark Angel. The hierarchy among the Dark Angels was strict, categorized into Lower Angels, Mid-tier Angels, and Upper Angels. The disparity in strength between these levels was immense.
Identifying them was quite simple; generally, the larger and more powerful a Dark Angel appeared, the stronger its abilities were. Soon enough, Ye Feihong realized why this world could be conquered so swiftly.
According to reason, possessing such immense power should at least resemble that of the Night Elf Tribe. They would fiercely resist, turning the world into ruins, making it difficult to conquer. Yet, looking at the cities beneath my feet, they remain largely intact. This indicates that there hasn't been any significant fighting.
The angels of this world have already been wiped out by the forces of Dark Matter, transformed into Dark Matter themselves. The reason is quite simple: their defense power is too low. The larger Dark Angels merely have higher health points, but their defense power is actually comparable to that of ordinary Dark Angels.
This explains why Bayonetta can hunt down those Supreme Dark Angels with just a small handgun. The offensive and defensive capabilities in this world are incomplete, consisting only of health and mobility. Such glaring weaknesses render them utterly incapable of resisting the invasion from the Dark World.
The battles come swiftly and end even faster. Thousands of Dark Angels charge at Ye Feihong, appearing numerous, yet in comparison to Swarm battles, where numbers are counted in the tens of thousands, this is hardly significant.
This small force is simply insufficient.
