Ye Feihong continuously traversed through several portals, each leading to worlds devastated by the Dark Demon. The realms of Xian Mo Nu and the angels were among them. It seemed that luck had spared them from complete destruction, but it was more like a boundary. This world existed at the intersection of the Swarm World and the Demon World.
Although the Dark Demon held the upper hand, there was no intention to engage in a full-scale war with the Swarm World. For instance, the world Ye Feihong currently observed was remarkably powerful in its own right, yet it could not resist the invasion of the Dark Demon.
The culture of this world was equally unique. They had harnessed both technology and magic, though their form of magic differed significantly from that of the Witch World. In this realm, magic was akin to Summoner Beasts; they could summon various powerful magical beasts to fight on their behalf.
Additionally, they possessed an array of advanced tools. Airships floated in the sky, ships sailed on the sea, and cars traversed the land—none of which paled in comparison to Blue Star. There were even creatures resembling ostriches, known as Chocobos, which replaced horses in this world.
Now, such a civilization had also fallen into ruin. The only difference was that the most formidable beings were not demons but those Summoners, each accompanied by several massive magical beasts behind them.
It must be the power they could summon in their previous lives. Ye Feihong did not quickly leave this world, all for these magical beasts. The gap in strength among them was quite significant. The weaker ones were merely cannon fodder, while some of the more powerful ones could rival the deities of the Witch World. This was a great place for experience and leveling up.
Among them was a gigantic turtle. Its attack power was rather ordinary, but its defense was astonishing. Ye Feihong's several Hero Units spent a good few minutes just to wear it down and finally defeat it. Battling it was undoubtedly a war of attrition and endurance. For the natives of this world, killing it would likely take at least several hours.
The turtle's shell was entirely composed of thick Refined Gold. It was like a moving fortress, hundreds of meters long, made up mostly of this hardest metal. After the battle, even the highly resilient Dwarf King had to lie on the ground, gasping for breath. He remarked, "This guy is just like a turtle shell."
The Watcher disdainfully replied, "It is a turtle after all."
Ye Feihong did not take a break. He utilized the Furnace Tree of Life to place the Refined Gold inside it. These were precious strategic resources.
Once the Refined Gold was refined, it could be used to upgrade the Plant Battleship. The Gigantic Ford, although previously equipped with Refined Gold and Mithril, could not be entirely made of such precious metals. Only a small portion was used in the outer shell of the Plant Battleship. Now, with an additional hundreds of thousands of tons of Refined Gold, there was enough to cover the entire outer shell of the Plant Battleship with a thick layer of it. The performance of the Gigantic Ford would see a significant enhancement.
In this world, having access to resources like Refined Gold allowed Ye Feihong to linger longer. He had no interest in the ordinary little demons or Skeleton Soldiers; he preferred hunting down the massive magical beasts. During his continuous flight, Ye Feihong stumbled upon something intriguing: a large group of Summoner Beasts attacking a concealed cave. It was quite strange to discover that there were still survivors in this world.
