Ye Feihong's mental power was incredibly strong. Even from several kilometers away, he could easily hear the conversations of the Dark Humanity on the city walls. To his surprise, these Dark Humanity were all Hero Units, retaining their former intelligence.
What puzzled Ye Feihong the most was that when he first discovered them, the Dark Humanity had even proposed to rescue him. Wasn't it the case that all Dark Matter sought to slaughter humanity? Even the weakest Dark Zombie was filled with a desire for life. However, upon entering the Dark World, Ye Feihong realized that this was not necessarily true.
For instance, the Witch and Angel World preferred to keep humans captive, albeit for the sake of their faith and power. This was a significant departure from mere slaughter. In this Dark Demon World, the fact that these Dark Humanity wanted to rescue him further astonished Ye Feihong. Could it be that the Normal World and the Dark World were not necessarily enemies?
Filled with doubt, Ye Feihong did not immediately issue an attack order. Instead, he soared into the air, hovering above the fortress. This fortress was also built within a canyon, with massive walls on both ends of the gorge.
At that moment, Ye Feihong realized something.
Within the walls, there were indeed a few living humans. Yes, they were residents of this world. They were not Dark Matter. These Dark Human Heroes were protecting their targets, which turned out to be ordinary humans of this world. Were they doing this for the power of faith, or for some other reason? It was astonishing that they would protect these ordinary people.

Zerg Queen Kerrigan was part of Dark Matter. But General Reynor might not be; he could even be an ordinary human who had leveled up to a hundred, making it just as difficult for him as it was for Ye Feihong.
Ye Feihong suddenly recognized a terrifying truth: Dark Matter not only protected humans but could even fall in love with normal humans.
This simple exchange left Ye Feihong feeling utterly confused. He had always believed that the Dark World and the Normal World were sworn enemies, destined to engage in mutual slaughter. There could only be two outcomes: the Dark World would invade all realms, or the Normal World would eradicate the Dark World. The idea of both sides coexisting harmoniously seemed even more implausible than having two equally powerful yet different species on a single planet.

It was a time when dozens of intelligent races emerged, all of whom engaged in brutal conflict until humanity's ancestors narrowly emerged victorious. Just how precarious was that victory? According to current genetic studies, it turns out that humanity began with only four hundred mothers. In other words, at the most dangerous point for human ancestors, there were merely four hundred women left in their tribe.
In the Dragon Kingdom, thirty percent of its population can trace their lineage back to just six female embryos. This means that one-third of the Dragon Kingdom's ancestors originated from only six women. Such is the brutal reality of species vying for dominance over a planet.
Humanity's ancestors achieved victory by the skin of their teeth. Yet now, these Dark Matter beings wished to coexist peacefully with the Normal World. This revelation filled Ye Feihong with astonishment; it seemed like a tale from a fantasy world.
