Suddenly, a multitude of plants appeared around Ye Feihong. Under the command of Wang Zhiwu, they quickly formed a sturdy wall. This scene deeply shocked the mages and the Amazon Warriors. They gazed at a magnificent city that had been established in just one day, built upon the solid rock formations of the mountains.
This colossal city could house more people than they had guarding the Fortress. Even with a population of three hundred thousand, it would not feel crowded. Ye Feihong's residence was located at the highest point of the mountain range, closest to the Lava Sea behind her, making it convenient for her to harness the power of the molten lava. From this vantage point, she could overlook the entire city.
Her dwelling was a small palace, with towering columns made of Metal Plants. The rooms reached a height of ten meters. In the courtyard, Ye Feihong had gathered numerous plants that were beginning to bloom, including exquisite varieties like Peonies, Mu Dan, Yue Ji, and Lan Zhai, enhancing the beauty of the palace.
It was now nighttime, and according to the customs of Ye Feihong's city, this was the most important time for festivities. If they were at Heaven Gate, thousands of dwarves and Night Elves would be singing and dancing in celebration. However, here, there were only a few Hero Units along with generals and Wang Zhiwu, making the atmosphere feel somewhat desolate.
They indulged in food and drink while singing and dancing.
In the eyes of the Mage and the Amazon Warrior, it was an event that had happened decades ago. As the end approached, they, the Dark Human Heroes, managed to guard the last stronghold. However, the canyon space was too small. It was already a struggle to grow enough food to survive, let alone brew wine and hold gatherings. Every day, they fought for survival. Such a celebration felt foreign and strange.
The Mage took a swig from a bottle and quietly said to the Amazon Warrior, "Have you noticed that Lord Ye Feihong possesses very peculiar abilities? They are completely different from ours."
The Amazon Warrior replied, "What's so strange about that? They are not from our realm, so naturally their abilities differ."
Seeing that she did not fully understand, the Mage elaborated further. "Don't you realize? Whether we are humans, demons, or even angels, we are all skilled at destruction rather than creation. This person can create life and realms—no one in our world has such capabilities."
After hearing the Mage's words, the Amazon Warrior reflected carefully and realized it was indeed true. This magnificent city had not seen many Dark Demon Realm human cities of such grandeur before the end arrived. To develop to this extent would require at least several decades or even years of construction. Yet Ye Feihong accomplished it all in just one day.
This city was entirely constructed from plants.
It is more accurate to say that construction is a rapid creation of life. This kind of power is something neither demons nor angels possess.
A banquet continued deep into the night. By the time the first light of dawn broke on the first day, a vast army of demons appeared on the distant ground. On the other side of the mountain range lay a sprawling hilly terrain.
Here, the Dark Demons were different from before. They were formed from animals, resembling scorpion demons and wolf demons, but do not be deceived by their appearances. They are not on the same level as the Blue Star's Dark Beasts. All Dark Demons possess magical powers, and in terms of defense, attack, and speed, they far surpass those attacking the Blue Star's Dark Beasts.
The mage spoke up: "They are the army of the King of Suffering. I have already warned you that we are close to the King of Suffering."
Ye Feihong replied, "Choosing to be here is precisely to kill the King of Suffering."
Behind the mountain range lay the Sea of Lava, while ahead stretched a vast expanse of hills.
