Upon hearing the word "rest," Wei Dong and God Tone reacted as if desert wanderers had found an oasis, instantly releasing the tension they had been holding. They glanced at each other, seemingly reaching some silent consensus, and immediately sat down on the floor.

The behavior of the two clearly attracted the attention of the other candidates in the field. But in the end, most people chose to avoid this strange pair, finding their own corners or open spaces, some sitting down to adjust their breathing, others taking out books or gems, and beginning to check and organize their equipment.

At that moment, the deputy examiner Arya walked over gracefully. Her eyes were filled with a comforting warmth and concern. She looked down at Wei Dong and God Tone still on the ground and asked with a smile, "What's wrong with you two? You look very tired. Do you have any problems? Do you need help?"
Wei Dong and God Tone glanced at each other, as if hesitating whether to answer Arya's question. However, in this awkward atmosphere, God Tone's stomach made an unmistakable growling sound. Both of their faces instantly turned red, especially God Tone, who felt very embarrassed.
"Well, it looks like you really need to rest and recharge," Deputy Examiner Arya said with a smile, then she gently clapped the air.
Instantly, some food appeared on the ground, completely different from what they had seen in the real world. There were fruits shining with light, pastries emitting fragrance, and some snacks that they couldn't recognize but looked quite delicious.
"These foods, consider it as my treat. After eating, rest well, and I hope you both will perform well in the upcoming third round of tests," Arya said generously, with a warm smile on his face.
Wei Dong and God Tone were both very grateful. They knew that in this high-pressure and highly competitive environment, such kindness was rare. Wei Dong took the first bite of the shiny fruit, and an unprecedented sweet taste immediately washed away all his fatigue.
"Thank you, Vice Examiner Arya. This means a lot to us," said Wei Dong sincerely.
God Tone also took a few sips and his eyes instantly lit up, as if all the fatigue and pressure had disappeared in that moment.
"Thank you so much, this will be a great help for our upcoming assessment." God Tone also expressed gratitude.
God Tone then picked up a seemingly smooth and tender piece of food, took a bite, and their eyes lit up. "Wow, this is so smooth and tender! It reminds me of some food I had in Pingtung."
Wei Dong heard his brother's praise and relaxed a bit. He picked up the food and took a bite, thinking to himself that this might be the first time they felt comfortable and satisfied in this new world.
Arya smiled, nodded, and quietly left, allowing Wei Dong and God Tone to continue enjoying this unexpected but precious meal.
After finishing their meal, they felt rejuvenated, as if they had regained the strength to face the challenges ahead. They exchanged a smile, knowing that even though the world was full of unknowns and challenges, as long as they had each other, nothing was impossible.
Wei Dong and God Tone found a quiet corner to sit and temporarily escape the tense atmosphere of the assessment. The food and brief rest helped them regain some physical and mental strength. God Tone seemed to be pondering something, and suddenly he said, "Bro, using magic to control heroes here is completely different from our usual keyboard and mouse operation, don't you think?"
Wei Dong glanced at God Tone and smiled slightly. He liked these philosophical questions. "Indeed, using magic to control the hero makes me feel more intuitive and real. It's like you and the hero become one, every action, every skill feels like a part of yourself. And using a keyboard and mouse, even though you can do the same things, there's always a layer of screen and physical equipment separating you from the game world. It's like operating an interface, not truly 'becoming' that character."
God Tone nodded, as if inspired. "Yes, I have the same feeling. When using a keyboard and mouse, no matter how immersed you are, you can only say 'I am playing this character,' and not feel 'I am this character.' But here, using magic to control the hero makes me feel like I've crossed a threshold and entered the game world directly. Not just visual and auditory, even tactile and olfactory senses become so real."
Wei Dong nodded deeply with emotion: "Yes, and using magic to control is not just a sensory connection. I found that I can feel the energy flow of each skill more delicately, and even predict and control their trajectories. Every attack, every move can be precise to microseconds and millimeters. This is something that cannot be achieved with a keyboard and mouse."
God Tone smiled: "Your profound understanding of tactics and strategy will definitely be fully utilized here. But for me, all of this still needs time to adapt. Especially this almost lifelike environment, it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable."
Wei Dong glanced at his younger brother and then said seriously, "Regardless, we must quickly adapt to the rules and environment here. The third round of assessment is approaching, and we must be fully prepared."
The two nodded at each other, looked into each other's eyes, and saw the determination and anticipation in each other's eyes. Then, they closed their eyes and began to enter a meditative state, quickly restoring their physical and magical strength, and mentally preparing for the upcoming new round of challenges.
