The next day, the Arms Building loomed over the city, showing no signs of the war's devastation. It had undergone urgent renovations, with red carpets laid out to welcome the high-ranking representatives of the Great Federation.
The Arms Tycoons felt a sense of defeat within, but they wore fake smiles, displaying a facade of enthusiasm and hospitality as they greeted members from the Dove Faction and Centrists. Gratt, the host, gestured invitingly, "Gentlemen, please, we have prepared a banquet."
As representatives of the victorious Dove Faction and Centrists, they should have entered with their heads held high in response to Gratt's invitation. Instead, they politely declined, saying, "No rush, no rush."
"Yes, Mr. Gratt, we’re not hungry at the moment," they added. While declining, both men frequently looked up as if waiting for something from the sky.
This unusual behavior made Gratt's heart race. What did it mean? Could they not even grant him this small courtesy? They had lost and accepted it; now they couldn't even sit down for a meal or share a drink together?

As usual, the UFO emitted a faint white light. Amidst the interplay of light and shadow, Xu Lie's projection appeared, and a mechanical synthesized voice resonated throughout the area.
"Your research topic has been completed; it is time to return."
Some sharp-minded individuals recalled that when aliens first appeared in Metropolis and introduced themselves, they also began by stating their identification numbers. Now there were two completely unfamiliar numbers—did this mean two new Alien Lives?

“This is outrageous! No wonder Anthony acted like he owned the place; it turns out they were one of their own!”
“This ending is absolutely explosive!”
Instantly, the density of Danmaku increased threefold, yet it had no effect on those within the Drama World. The high-ranking members of the Dove Faction and Centrist watched in shock as the UFO took the Alien Life away. Panic surged within them—how could there be two disguised Alien Life among them without anyone noticing before?!
How terrifying was that?
As their emotions began to settle, they were left utterly stunned. The Alien Life had promised them drugs and technological products, yet they just left without a word? What happened to the spaceship delivering goods? What about the promised rewards for completing their mission?
They were all deceivers!
On the sidelines, Grat felt an unexpected sense of relief wash over him; perhaps defeat wasn't so unacceptable after all.
“So it turns out the aliens never intended to share technology with us. What was all that commotion from the Great Federation about? There were riots in various regions and a Civil War to quell.”
“In short, the Great Federation was fooled by the aliens into looking like fools.”
“Damn it! No way! It’s just that in this drama, the Great Federation seems too foolish. In reality, we Amei would absolutely see through any lies from Alien Life!”
