As the thunder dissipated, the dazzling blue and white flashes came to an end. Among the four Evil Mages, three had already turned to dust, leaving no trace behind. Only one remained, though perhaps it could no longer be called a human.
The last Evil Mage had completely lost its human form, its body elongated significantly. It was truly elongated in the literal sense. Its spine stretched three meters higher, and its arms and legs grew longer as well. The surface of its body was covered in dark gray scales, with thorns and spikes protruding from various places. Four wings sprouted from its back, shimmering in a deep blue hue, surrounded by a gust of wind; with a single flap, it swiftly took off.
These changes were not just skeletal and superficial; its flesh had also transformed. Pieces of what seemed to be stitched together from the blood and flesh of magical beasts replaced its previous human anatomy. A mere glance at it would be enough to haunt someone’s nightmares.

The mages began to chatter, pointing out that the Evil Mage was stitched together with the flesh of magical beasts known for their strong regenerative abilities. This Evil Mage was indeed ruthless; by integrating beast materials into itself, it underwent magical transformation to compensate for its inherent frailty. In an instant, the wizards saw through the Magic Mirror that a panicked Evil Mage was fleeing, a portal opening above his head, from which a small glowing orb tumbled out.

The small orb could not be described; it either expanded too rapidly, creating a massive sphere of light that enveloped a mile around, or it exploded violently, bursting forth in a brilliant flash. The wizards had barely caught a glimpse; in that moment, the dazzling light flickered like the midday sun, blindingly bright.
It was far more dazzling than the previous Firepower Coverage incident at Thunder Pool. Even through the Magic Mirror, they found it difficult to look directly at it. As a result, many wizards instinctively turned their gazes away, fearing their eyes would be blinded by the radiance.
However, as they shifted their focus, they were met with an even more unbelievable sight: what was that?!
Light, pure light.
Inquilinar was left in awe: Xu Liexian had just claimed this was Fire Magic? This was Fire Magic?!
Where their gazes converged should have been a distant view of the sky.
