They were all wizards who preferred to travel across the continent rather than remain fixed in one location. Therefore, when Xu Lie hired them as Enrollment Teachers for the school, they didn't have to stay on campus; their sole responsibility was to recruit students from all directions.
Although they enjoyed exploring the continent, they also had a fondness for the Magic Books from the Gate of Truth. To earn points, they needed to learn how to effectively recruit students, which motivated their enthusiasm.
When Xu Lie arrived on the deck, the five or more wizards who had accompanied him were already waiting there. In addition to those who were busy constructing ships at the school, there were also some wizards engrossed in research; nearly all of them had come along. Who wouldn't want points?
Xu Lie had arrived. Should we go down and greet him, or should we use magic to create a grand illusion for our introduction?
As they conversed, the Feizhou had already reached the skies above Golden Sun King City. Xu Lie extended his right hand: this was how they would greet each other.
Golden Sun Kingdom Capital, as the heart of the entire kingdom, was known for its good order and security. The people living here led lives that were not too prosperous but certainly not poor either. At least those residing in the royal city did not have to live in constant fear of being attacked by magical beasts; their safety was well assured.
When encountering villagers from outside the city, residents of the royal city felt a slight sense of superiority. Happiness is often derived from comparison; it is human nature and unavoidable. However, this small sense of superiority vanished without a trace upon seeing the massive Feizhou in the sky.
The shadow cast by the Feizhou had already covered several streets. The towering creation and its enormous size sent the residents of the royal city rushing home in panic, too frightened to remain on the streets. In an instant, only those villagers from outside the city remained outside, desperately seeking shelter in shadowy corners.
At the center of the royal city, the Guard Captain hurriedly approached, urging the king and ministers who were in a meeting to take precautions. What if it was an attack from their rival, Silvermoon Kingdom? Better safe than sorry.
The King was quite cautious about his life and found the Guard Captain's words very reasonable. He hurriedly tried to make his way to the basement. Just as he stood up, a faint male voice echoed from outside: "Fifth Level Thunder Magic Judgment."
Above the Golden Sun King City, which was still under clear skies, thunder rumbled ominously. There were no clouds, yet countless bolts of lightning began to strike down from the heavens.
Numerous small arcs of lightning descended from the sky, crashing into the ground. The deep rumble of thunder sent chills through the hearts of countless citizens, causing them to kneel in fear, whether at home or outside, genuinely terrified of the power of this thunder.
Fortunately, it seemed that the thunder had some awareness; it did not harm anyone but targeted only open spaces. Aside from scorching the earth black, it was merely a terrifying sound.
The thunder came swiftly and left just as quickly. In a matter of about ten seconds, it all faded away, leaving the sky still clear and cloudless. However, the residents of Golden Sun King City remained hesitant to rise, as if they feared that standing up would invite another strike.
Even the King was no exception; he dared not poke his head out from the palace. Above Feizhou, mages of all sizes stared incredulously at Xu Lie.
Was this what they called a greeting? They could guarantee that absolutely no one would appreciate such a way of saying hello; it was far too exaggerated and frightening.
