Inquilinar had always admired Xu Lie's training philosophy, and by bringing Beric to the forefront, he aimed to provide the young apprentice with some combat experience.
"Yes!" Beric responded with his usual booming voice.
Inquilinar couldn't help but momentarily overlook the noise, as the excitement in the air lifted his spirits. Beric, brimming with enthusiasm, gathered all his magical energy, raised his hands high, and struck forward with a powerful motion, calling out his teacher's signature spell: Flowing Flame!
In that instant, the air ignited, giving birth to countless flickering orange flames. The weeds were first reduced to ashes, and amidst the swirling dust, a fierce blaze emerged; raindrops evaporated into vapor before transforming into tiny sparks.
All the flames that appeared from thin air converged under Beric's will. Like grains of sand forming a tower, numerous small flames coalesced, flowing and burning steadily, ultimately creating a continuous Blazing River!
The magnificent Blazing River stretched endlessly, towering dozens of meters high and wide, surging toward the Evil Mages with an unstoppable force. The Evil Mages felt as if they were not facing a mere magician but rather a colossal volcano erupting before them!
What was rushing toward them like a Blazing River was no different from molten lava spilling from a volcano!
"Damn it! Block it! Hold it back!"
Those who could still fight pulled out their trump cards without hesitation.
"Inquilinar! This is Inquilinar's magic! I've seen it before!"
The shouts of the Evil Mages echoed in desperation as they fought with all their might, unleashing their hidden powers. A towering one-time Skeleton Giant, a Mad Witch formed from the endless grievances of dying villagers, and the Blood-Red Sky Curtain that drained the blood of a small town were all summoned.
Finally, they managed to halt the advance of the Blazing River, preventing it from surging forward any further.
Before the Evil Mages could catch their breath, Beric was far from finished. Under the protection of Earth Mother, his previously exhausted magical energy quickly replenished: it wasn't over yet!
Flowing Flame—its essence lay not in the Blazing River itself but in its unending flow. As long as Beric had enough magical power, the Blazing River would continue to surge forth relentlessly. Accompanied by the ongoing searing flames of magic, the Blazing River crashed forward for an extended period.
The Skeleton Giant's legs sank into the Blazing River as it attempted to stretch its arms to grab Beric and disrupt his casting but was met with relentless burning and impact from the river.
With one misstep, it toppled over completely, its bones threatening to turn to ash.
The female demon was utterly helpless. After a series of soul-piercing screams were blocked by the protection of the Earth Mother, she transformed into a vast expanse of green smoke within the Blazing River. Only the Blood-red Veil could barely hold her back for a moment.
The audience was filled with excitement, wishing they could kick Beric aside and take his place!
"Wow! So cool! Today's performance is absolutely stunning! Just look at those long-lasting flame effects; they must have cost a fortune!"
"Flowing Flame is incredible! Beric just waved his hand and unleashed a signature spell. How can that Evil Mage withstand this?"
"Look closely at the Blazing River; every single flame is dancing, and the way they flicker and their frequency are all different! This is top-tier special effects, and it's so enduring! This show is definitely worth following!"
"I actually think the Skeleton Giant on the Evil Mage's side is cooler. A real man should pilot a Gundam!"
