Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha were waiting at the airport exit, and as soon as they spotted Jiang Chen, they rushed over to greet him.
"Brother Jiang, you finally made it! This is my classmate, Jiang Lu. Ever since I mentioned introducing her to you as a sister, she has been looking forward to meeting you!" Qin Xusha exclaimed, pointing at Jiang Lu with a playful smile.
"Great! How old are you? Are you going to be my sister or my older sister?" Jiang Chen asked gently, recognizing Jiang Lu from the photos he had seen.
"I'm only eighteen, so I should be younger than you," Jiang Lu replied without any hint of shyness, clearly having heard plenty about Jiang Chen from Qin Xusha.
"Oh, then let's make you my sister! Where are you from?" Jiang Chen smiled. He felt an unexpected familiarity with Jiang Lu; perhaps it was because they shared the same surname. But that seemed unlikely since Jiang was a common name.
"I'm from An Province. From now on, I'll call you brother!" Jiang Lu said cheerfully.
"Alright!" Jiang Chen nodded. Since he had no family at the moment, having an additional "sister" didn't matter much to him.
Jiang Lu smiled contentedly and linked arms with Qin Xusha, turning to Jiang Chen and said, "Brother, Sister Qin said I wanted to meet you, but she wants to see you even more. She dressed up specially for today; don't you think she's beautiful?"
Being slightly younger than Qin Xusha, Jiang Lu called her "Sister." However, this kind of address among classmates indicated a particularly close relationship.
"Xiao Lu, don’t say such things! Your brother is my lifesaver; I'm practically his maid. How could I have any other thoughts?" Qin Xusha said bashfully.
"Haha, enough of that! It's getting dark; let's go eat instead of standing around at the airport," Jiang Chen suggested, steering the conversation away from romantic topics.
Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha quickly agreed.
Qin Xusha drove them to a high-end residential area in the city called Dela Apartment. The properties here were extremely expensive, with the most luxurious penthouse valued at over one billion Huaxia Coins.
"Young Master, the place we're staying now belongs to a friend of mine whose family immigrated to Great Britain years ago. They’re here on vacation, so I borrowed the apartment for our stay. She’s been our tour guide yesterday and today," Qin Xusha explained. Since starting university, she had begun referring to Jiang Chen as "Young Master."
"Sister Qin's friend is also a stunning beauty with a personality just as lovely as hers," Jiang Lu added with a smile.
"Really? Now I'm curious to meet her," Jiang Chen replied casually. Since Jiang Lu was now his sister, he felt no need to maintain a formal demeanor and pretended to be interested in beautiful women—something normal for a young man.
"Young Master, her name is Ni Xingyi; she works in fashion design. Next weekend, there’s a show in Paris, and she invited Xiao Lu and me to go. You should come along too!" Qin Xusha suggested with enthusiasm.
"Sounds like a rare opportunity; I'll join you both in Europe," Jiang Chen smiled back.
"Wow, it's so great to have you as my brother!" Jiang Lu giggled.
"Hehe, since you've become my sister, I have to treat you well," Jiang Chen replied warmly.
An hour later, as they pulled into the underground parking garage of Dela Apartment and got out of the car, they noticed a tall woman stepping out of a nearby Mercedes G-Class. She appeared to be several years older than Qin Xusha—probably around twenty-seven or twenty-eight—and was dressed very stylishly with shoulder-length hair and high heels that added several inches to her height.
