Time flies, and the seasons flow like a river.
When the Flying Ship once again appeared over the Silver Moon King's City, the residents had grown accustomed to it. This marked the third year since the Truth School officially began its Enrollment. No one hurried to hide in their basements, nor did they seek help from the city guards; they simply continued with their daily lives. At most, they would occasionally look up at the Flying Ship, their eyes filled with either envy or pride.
Envy needed no elaboration, while pride stemmed from the fact that their own children or close relatives had the opportunity to attend the Truth School and learn magic. In the past two years, the first and second batches of students had returned home during their breaks, showcasing various magical feats that had captivated everyone across the continent. The supernatural abilities they displayed were nothing short of miraculous, igniting countless desires among onlookers.
Each of these students had their own stories to tell. For instance, they received warm invitations to banquets from kings, ministers, and nobles, who offered generous rewards in hopes that these graduates would serve the kingdom after completing their studies. Some even sought to ask students about attending the Truth School themselves, curious if they could learn alongside these gifted youths.
Parents who once longed for a connection with their children’s dreams now approached with gifts, subtly inquiring about future marriages. Moreover, local monsters that had previously terrorized communities were swiftly dealt with by a few young students, bringing glory to their towns.
Naturally, everyone around was eager to know what plans these students had for the future, hoping they would choose to stay. Some students were quite tempted by these offers, while others remained indifferent, wishing only to continue teaching at the school and pursue deeper and more profound magic.
Now that the Flying Ship had returned, all residents with children of suitable age understood one thing: whether their family could leap over the dragon gate and transform into dragons depended entirely on this upcoming Admissions Test!
Two years ago, during the first Enrollment at Truth School, many parents forbade their children from attending; now those same parents regretted their decisions deeply and became subjects of ridicule among neighbors. This time around, such incidents would not occur again.
Upon seeing the Flying Ship approach, many residents rushed home with one priority: to find their children and ensure they participated in the Admissions Test seven days later. Who would dare refuse? They’d break your legs if you did!
While chaos ensued below, on board the Flying Ship, the teachers responsible for Enrollment were happily assigning tasks to one another. Times had changed; during that first Enrollment year, they had to personally travel to every city and village across all regions.
At this moment, it was no longer necessary. After nurturing two batches of students, it was time to put their skills to use.
Students scattered across various towns and villages had already received their Test Crystals before the holiday break. During the vacation, they tested the eligible individuals in their hometowns. If there were no magical reserves, granting the privilege of early enrollment could potentially lead to various minor issues. For instance, students might refuse to test individuals from families with whom they had grievances, exploit the situation for profit, or seek to gain unfair advantages.
However, in the magical world, such worries were greatly alleviated. The Test Crystals had been imbued with various spells—lie detectors and verification charms—making it impossible for students to conceal anything. In fact, some villages ended up with no students at all.
If there were students in nearby villages, the teachers had to personally visit to conduct early tests, ensuring that no problems arose with the enrollment process. The Enrollment teachers only needed to dispatch small Flying Ships to pick up the students one by one, saving a significant amount of time and effort compared to the initial enrollment period.
With the third Enrollment of Truth School underway, the entire Magic Continent thrived in prosperity, except for a small faction of Evil Mages harboring resentment.
