"Hey, Brother, this Count and her daughter don’t look like father and daughter; they look more like grandfather and granddaughter. Can you tell how old this Count is?" Jiang Lu asked curiously, knowing that her older brother was quite knowledgeable, so she directly posed her question.
"If I said he’s been alive for hundreds of years, would you believe me?" Jiang Chen replied with a smile.

"Haha, remember that vampire movie called Vampire Count? It featured a vampire who lived in a castle for hundreds of years. This Count might be similar," Jiang Chen said with a playful expression.
"A movie is just a movie; it can't be real. There are many castles in Great Britain, and Sister Ni has taken us to see several of them these past few days. Do you think there are vampires in all of them? Besides, this Count doesn’t look like a vampire at all; vampires don’t age," Jiang Lu argued.
Although vampires are legendary creatures, they frequently appear in movies, so people are quite familiar with them.
"You certainly know a lot," Jiang Chen chuckled but didn’t elaborate further. There was no need for Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha to know about the bloodline matters; he wanted to avoid them pestering him to take them to see any vampires.
Count Smithan was indeed a member of the bloodline and had lived for hundreds of years. His daughter was only in her twenties, but if it came down to strength, she was actually more powerful than him. However, Jiang Chen noticed something unusual.
The age difference between the bloodline father and daughter was significant enough, but their bloodlines were different as well, which raised some questions. Could it be that this Count was unaware of being cuckolded?
Members of the bloodline dealt with blood daily and had a keen sense for it. This Count had lived for hundreds of years and was an experienced vampire; if he didn’t even know he had been cuckolded, then he might not be a true vampire after all.

Since luck had favored him today by running into one, he planned to wait until the ball ended to have a private chat with the Count. It would be good to learn more about the bloodline; if he could trade money or some elixirs for the Divine Bone Order, that would be even better.
Since he intended to have a private conversation later, Jiang Chen just wanted to remain an observer for now.
The four of them stood in a corner, sipping champagne slowly. This old vampire Count had lived for hundreds of years and must have hidden away quite a few good wines. The champagne tonight was nice—at least several decades old—and there should be even better wines in the castle's underground cellar.
At that moment, Monroe wore an alluring smile as she surveyed the young men around her. Her smile acted like a stimulant, making those young noblemen even more excited.
"I’m very pleased that everyone could join me tonight. I hope you all enjoy this ball. Of course, the main purpose of tonight’s event is something you all likely already know. This is my daughter, Monroe. She hasn’t appeared much in recent years due to health issues, but now that she has recovered, I want her to integrate into this circle. Tonight, I hope an outstanding gentleman will become my daughter’s dance partner," Count Smithan announced with a smile.
