A hundred years flowed by like a fleeting shadow, as the turmoil and wars of the past were sealed away by time. Outside Anning Valley, in a small town, the sound of reading echoed within a classroom. The teacher, dressed in a long robe and holding a scroll, paced among the students as he recited a timeless piece: “In the middle of the Taiyuan period, a fisherman from Wuling…” 0

After finishing, the teacher scanned the students and asked, “My dear students, if the Peach Blossom Spring mentioned in this text truly existed, what would it look like?” This question stirred a wave of excitement among the students, who eagerly raised their hands to speak. A boy named Afu stood up, scratching his head as he said, “Teacher, I think that Peach Blossom Spring must be filled with lush forests and clear streams, where the people have no worries about food and drink, and everyone wears a smile.” 0

The teacher nodded slightly, smiling without saying a word. At that moment, a girl named A Xiu softly added, “Teacher, I imagine that the people in the Peach Blossom Spring help each other without conflict; children can play at ease while adults can work without worry.” The teacher’s eyes sparkled with approval: “What A Xiu said is indeed true. But have you ever thought about whether such a place really exists in this world?” 0

The students exchanged glances and began to whisper among themselves. Suddenly, from the corner of the room, a boy named A Qiang exclaimed loudly, “Teacher, my grandfather once told me that not far from here, there is a place that resembles the Peach Blossom Spring.” This statement caused an uproar among the students, and the teacher became intrigued: “A Qiang, please tell us more.” 0

A Qiang stood up and cleared his throat: “My grandfather said that a hundred years ago, during a time of great chaos when the Three Kingdoms were at war, the common people suffered immensely. A group of people fled into the deep mountains to escape the turmoil and found a valley. The land in that valley was fertile and spring-like all year round. There was also an old man who led everyone to settle there.” 0

“The leaders were three young gentlemen: one named Fu Xingchen, who was skilled in agriculture and taught everyone how to identify weeds and improve seeds; another named Mu Yunfan, who led people in hunting and strengthening their homes; and the third was Su Yizhi, who taught children how to read and write. They worked from dawn till dusk in that valley as if they were living in a paradise.” 0

The teacher listened intently and asked, “And what happened next?” A Qiang continued: “Later on, a messenger stumbled into the valley and brought news that a general named Zhao Yunfei had unified the Three Kingdoms and was working to restore livelihoods. Upon hearing that peace had returned to the outside world, everyone in the valley felt secure enough to stay there and devoted themselves to building their home.” 0

The teacher nodded slightly and sighed: “Thus, this Anning Valley can indeed be called a Peach Blossom Spring. Do you know what it has become today?” A Qiang shook his head: “My grandfather didn’t elaborate; he only said that life in the valley was stable and people lived harmoniously.” 0

The teacher gazed into the distance and slowly said: “In this world, wars and conflicts have never ceased. To have a place of peace is truly a blessing for the common people. Those in the valley may have been amidst chaos but managed to unite their efforts to find hope; such spirit is worth our learning.” 0

The students listened earnestly, their eyes filled with longing. Afu couldn’t help but ask: “Teacher, can we go see Anning Valley?” The teacher smiled and replied: “Though Anning Valley is wonderful, it is also far away. But as long as you all harbor good intentions and strive diligently, every corner of this world can become a peaceful place.” 0

At that moment, a gentle breeze rustled through the leaves outside the window as if recounting stories from a hundred years ago. A century ago, Fu Xingchen, Mu Yunfan, Su Yizhi, and others began new chapters of life in Anning Valley. A hundred years later, their stories continued to be passed down in classrooms, inspiring generations of students. 0
