Hearing Zhao Yue's words felt like I had fallen into an ice cave.

Uncle Liang Wu had a greedy look on his face as he dragged me toward his home.
He lived on the outskirts of the village, where I could vaguely see the path winding down the mountain.
I gritted my teeth and kicked him hard, sending him sprawling to the ground!
However, before I could take two steps, I heard Uncle Liang Wu cursing behind me.
“Woman, how dare you run!”
“Just wait until I beat you to death!”
Soon enough, I was pinned to the ground by other men from the village.
Fists and kicks rained down on me, and I felt like I was about to faint from the pain.
Yet Uncle Liang Wu wore a broad smile.
“Woman, do you know what happens when you resist?”
“Today, I’ll make sure you find out!”
Uncle Liang Wu looked exhilarated.
I was pinned to the ground, punched and kicked.
To prevent me from escaping again, they bound my hands behind my back and forced me to expose my upper body.
But that wasn't enough.
After being dragged back home, I was pressed onto a chair.
Villagers passing by looked at my body without restraint.
Some even placed their hands on my skin, touching me without hesitation.
" Uncle Liang Wu, this woman has a great figure!"
"Xiao Yue didn't touch her just now, did he? Otherwise, let us have a taste!"
Hearing those men's words, I completely broke down.
However, when I looked at Zhao Yue, he avoided my gaze.
