"Hey, are you even a man? I just can't understand why you wouldn't agree to this wonderful opportunity and have a child with me. Do you think it would be a burden?" Monroe was getting a bit angry. Jiang Chen was simply incomprehensible; any man would be captivated by her beauty, yet here she was, offering herself, and he still refused.
Jiang Chen shook his head, unwilling to waste more words. He reached out as if to lift her with an invisible hand, and Monroe was moved aside effortlessly.
"Wait! I can take you to meet our Blood Clan Leader," Monroe called out hesitantly as Jiang Chen opened the door to leave.
"Alright, I'll come find you tomorrow," Jiang Chen paused for a moment, leaving behind that sentence before striding away.
In the living room, Jiang Lu and the others were waiting. When they saw Jiang Chen return, the three hurried over.
"Brother, what did they want with you?" Jiang Lu asked curiously.
"We talked about vampires and the castle. It's all settled now; let's go," Jiang Chen replied with a smile, not wanting to elaborate further.
Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha were just there for a vacation, and Jiang Chen didn't want them to get too involved in any issues.
"Brother, are there really vampires?" Jiang Lu continued her inquisitive probing. Jiang Chen nodded but chose not to say more.
As Jiang Chen and the others left the castle, Monroe and Count Smithan stood on the balcony watching him depart. Count Smithan said angrily, "That Huaxia kid is simply unreasonable. Monroe, why did you agree to take him to see the Clan Leader? With his attitude, he will definitely anger the Clan Leader. If he dies, it won't matter, but we might get dragged into it."
"It's fine. If he doesn't experience the power of our blood clan, he won't know how to hold back. He's from Huaxia Martial Arts; I doubt the Clan Leader would actually kill him, but he will definitely be taught a lesson," Monroe replied.
"Are you really planning to conceive a child using his bloodline?" Count Smithan's tone was grave.
"That's the only way," Monroe said with a hint of helplessness in her expression.
The next morning, Jiang Chen arrived at the castle alone.
"I'll take you to meet the Clan Leader, but you'd better go in the name of Huaxia Martial Arts; that way you'll have enough standing to negotiate with him," Monroe kindly reminded him.
Jiang Chen smiled and nodded, not wanting to argue. Once he met the Blood Clan Leader and obtained the Divine Bone Order, his purpose for this trip to Great Britain would be fulfilled. After that, he could relax and enjoy time with Jiang Lu and Qin Xusha traveling around Europe.
Originally, Jiang Chen had planned for Jon Delson to take him to meet the Blood Clan Leader, but since he encountered someone from the blood clan, he decided to meet the Clan Leader ahead of schedule.
Today, Monroe wore a tracksuit with her golden hair tied back in a ponytail under a baseball cap. She had applied light makeup—not to enhance her beauty but to mask her stunning features so she appeared more ordinary. She feared that her beauty might attract unnecessary trouble when meeting the Blood Clan Leader.
The Blood Clan Leader, Brower, was not at their stronghold but working in an office building in the city. Only a few knew his true identity; in external reports, Brower was portrayed as a successful entrepreneur in Great Britain who commanded great respect and held significant influence in the country.
Count Smithan personally drove Jiang Chen and Monroe to the parking lot of Brower's company building.
