Jiang Chen's death left her with a sense of regret. The Blood Ancestor's demise meant that the Blood Clan had lost its support, potentially facing internal and external troubles. As a member of the Blood Clan, she naturally did not wish to witness such a scene. Thus, Monroe's heart was filled with contradictions at that moment.
After a while, Brower hurried over, not noticing anyone else around. "Our Ancestor said to have you meet him," Brower stated.
"How about this, Mr. Jiang, let's go meet the Blood Ancestor. He should agree to your request; after all, a hundred million dollars for the Divine Bone Order is more than sufficient," Monroe suggested in a low voice.
"Since he doesn't want to come out, I'll make him come see me," Jiang Chen replied with a smile, slowly lifting his foot and stomping down on the ground.
With that stomp, it was as if a giant towering thousands of feet high had struck the earth. The island trembled violently, sending shockwaves radiating outward and creating waves in the surrounding sea. In the distance, a luxurious yacht rocked back and forth, causing Ma'erka and others to fall over.
"What just happened?" Ma'erka and the others quickly scrambled up and looked toward the sea, only to see a ring of waves continuing to surge forward until they disappeared.
"Why did waves suddenly appear? Is there an underwater volcano about to erupt?" someone asked.
"Impossible! There's an island over there; let's dock at that island," another suggested.
"That island is private; we can't just go in there. It's fine; the waves have passed; there shouldn't be any more," someone else replied. But as soon as those words were spoken, Ma'erka and the others' expressions changed.
Another wave surged from the direction of the island.
Frightened, Ma'erka and the others quickly steered their yacht away. Fortunately, they were far enough away that by the time the waves reached them, they had lost most of their energy and merely caused the yacht to sway without posing any real danger.
"What’s going on with that private island? Could it really be a volcano about to erupt?" Ma'erka and his companions stared wide-eyed at the distant island in confusion. However, their curiosity outweighed their fear; instead of hastily leaving, they began speculating wildly.
"Ma'erka, could it be that your words are coming true? Is heaven really sending you a god-like man?" one beautiful woman joked.
"Haha, it’s really possible," others chimed in, lightening the tense atmosphere as they relaxed.
"It would be great if that were true," Ma'erka said with a wry smile.
On the island, although Jiang Chen seemed to be gently stomping on the ground, each step caused violent tremors. The grass beneath his feet cracked open with enormous fissures. Brower and Monroe were caught off guard by the shaking and nearly fell over.
"Y-you should stop stomping!" Brower shouted unsteadily. He was now completely convinced; was Jiang Chen even human? If this continued, he feared that the Ancestor's underground lair would collapse.
In that moment, Brower even regretted bringing Jiang Chen to meet the Ancestor. The Ancestor's strength was unfathomable, but Jiang Chen's power also seemed equally immeasurable.
In a clash of titans, if there was no absolute certainty, the outcome would not bode well for either side.
"Young man from Huaxia, how dare you act so recklessly on my territory?" Suddenly, a voice echoed ominously from deep within the cavern.
Then, countless blood-red mists surged forth from a certain spot on the island. The crimson fog rose like a towering pillar of red light, reaching a height of a hundred feet, making it particularly conspicuous and visible even from ten miles away.
