Jiang Chen stood to the side, observing coldly. He was only here today to help Jon exert some forceful intimidation; when the time came for him to take action, he would naturally do so.
"Wait and see what I can do," Jon said with a faint smile, then turned to Bowen. "Are you really not going to apologize?"
"Dream on! What is he to me that I should apologize?" Bowen scoffed.
Jon glanced at Jiang Chen and switched to Huaxia Language. "Master, although he is my junior, he has offended you and deserves death. I have given him a chance, but since he does not know how to cherish it, please deal with him."
"Then kill him," Jiang Chen said casually.
As soon as Jiang Chen's words fell, he waved his hand. Before Bowen could react, an invisible force struck him, sending him flying across the room and crashing into the wall. He fell to the ground, blood gushing from his mouth, his organs shattered—he was dead beyond recovery.
"Bowen!" Meng Li shouted, rushing over to check.
Everyone was stunned by this sudden turn of events; someone actually dared to kill in the Delson Family's territory.
"You killed my grandson! Someone, quickly kill this brat!" Meng Li shouted furiously upon seeing his grandson dead.
A group of bodyguards rushed forward, surrounding Jiang Chen. They drew their guns and aimed them at him.
"I advise you to put away your guns; otherwise, you will die a terrible death," Jon warned.
"Kill them!" Meng Li was now at his breaking point, having lost all rationality. His grandson had been killed right before his eyes—how could he endure this?
Gunshots rang out as bullets whizzed through the air.
Just when everyone thought Jiang Chen and Jon would be riddled with bullets, those bullets suddenly stopped mid-air, unable to advance even an inch.
The bodyguards were horrified and continued firing, but strangely enough, it seemed there was an invisible barrier that intercepted all the bullets in mid-air.
Jiang Chen reached out his hand, and the bullets seemed to be attracted like iron filings to a magnet, all falling into his grasp.
He looked at the bullets and chose not to kill the bodyguards; instead, he casually tossed them aside.
"Jon, there's no need for more words. Tell those who agree with you becoming Clan Leader to step forward; those who disagree will die," Jiang Chen said flatly.
Sometimes, brute force is the most straightforward way to solve problems. Since Jiang Chen had this ability, he naturally opted for the most efficient method. Talking it out would likely fall on deaf ears; only a more direct approach would suffice.
Jon nodded and spoke proudly. "I won't waste any more breath either. Those who agree with me becoming Clan Leader step forward; those who don't will end up like Bowen."
At this point, no one dared to underestimate Jon and Jiang Chen any longer. Jon had clearly come prepared, bringing along a Hua Xia Expert. This Hua Xia Expert had already killed Bowen, so no one doubted the truth of Jon's words.
"Hehe, I didn't expect the position of Clan Leader to be so enticing that it could draw back someone who has been away from the family for seventy years. It's a pity, though; you are no longer qualified to compete for the title of Clan Leader." Suddenly, an aged voice, somewhat frail, echoed through the air.
An elderly man, seated in a wheelchair and pushed by the butler of the Delson Family, appeared. The old man looked frail and worn, likely in his nineties, similar in age to Jon. He was none other than Qiu Jisi Delxun, the current Clan Leader of the Delson Family.
