"Now that I am the Clan Leader, I suppose no one will oppose me anymore?" Jon spoke, his tone exuding confidence from within.
At this moment, no one dared to disagree.
Even the most vocal opponent, the Old Man with a Big Beard, looked defeated and had no strength left to argue. Who exactly was Jon, that even the Blood Clan Leader treated him with such respect?
Jon had successfully become the Clan Leader of the Delson Family. Brower had spent a day with the Delson Family and couldn't wait to leave after the evening's banquet. The pressure in front of Jiang Chen was too much for him.
As for Jiang Chen, he returned to Paris the following day. Jon stayed behind to handle clan matters; as a newly appointed Clan Leader, he had a lot on his plate. It would take him at least a few months to fully take over the operations of the Delson Family.
Regarding the two divine artifacts, Jon had yet to find out their specific whereabouts. However, Jiang Chen was not in a hurry. He initially thought it would be difficult to locate the Seven Divine Artifacts and planned to gather them within ten years. Yet now, in less than a year, he had already collected five artifacts, far exceeding his expectations, thanks in large part to Jon's efforts.
The remaining two were merely a matter of time.
Upon returning to Paris, Jiang Chen continued his European trip with Qin Xusha and his sister Jiang Lu.
On August 3rd, Jiang Chen and his sister Qin Xusha returned to Huaxia.
Their flight landed directly in Shanghai, where Jiang Chen had already informed Jiang Luyi, who came personally to pick him up.
Arriving at Quiet Villa, Jiang Lu was astonished and exclaimed loudly. Qin Xusha remained relatively calm since she had grown up in a villa.
"Brother, you live here? This place is simply a paradise!" Jiang Lu looked around in awe within Quiet Villa.
"Xiao Lu, Sasha, come here; I want to introduce you to some people," Jiang Chen called them over.
Currently residing in Quiet Villa alongside Jiang Chen were Chen Zhi, Ye Ming, Lin Yin, and Ding Yan.
Seeing this quirky girl before them as Jiang Chen's sister surprised everyone; they had never heard of him having a sister. Especially Lin Yin, who knew about Jiang Chen's background—where could this sister have come from?
Lin Yin naturally recognized Qin Xusha. Since Qin Xusha's parents had reconciled with Lin Yin's master, their meeting was no longer awkward. Qin Xusha explained that Jiang Lu was her classmate who admired Jiang Chen and shared the same surname; thus, she introduced them as siblings.
"Oh, I see," everyone understood at once.
"Master's Uncle," Chen Zhi said respectfully as the oldest disciple of Jiang Chen. He understood the etiquette and bowed deeply to Jiang Lu.
Since Jiang Chen was impressive enough to recognize Jiang Lu as his sister, she must also be someone extraordinary. This was what Chen Zhi thought; he dared not show any disrespect.
Ye Ming quickly followed suit and called out "Master's Uncle" obediently.
As for Ding Yan, he felt a bit awkward and simply smiled at Jiang Lu.
Lin Yin was reluctant to call Jiang Lu "Master's Uncle," but she greeted her warmly with a smile instead.
"Master's Uncle?" Jiang Lu was taken aback by this title and looked puzzled. Chen Zhi appeared ethereal and wise; honestly speaking, in terms of appearance, she felt that Chen Zhi looked more like a master than her own older brother.
"Uh, please don't call me Master's Uncle. Do I look like a Master's Uncle?" Jiang Lu said.
"You are the master's sister, so you naturally are my Master's Uncle," Chen Zhi replied seriously.
"Just call me Jiang Lu, or Xiao Lu, or even Lu'er is fine," Jiang Lu smiled.
