Inside the teahouse, the aroma of tea mingled with the clamor of voices. Lin Feng's fingers tightened around a slip of paper, concealing it deep within his sleeve, as a chill crept up his spine. Just as he was about to take a step forward, the light at the entrance dimmed abruptly. The group of agents, who had vanished like phantoms, returned, their eyes filled with suspicion and menace. Clearly, they believed their earlier search had missed something crucial and were determined to uncover the hidden prey. 0

Lin Feng's heart raced as he cast a quick glance at the agents, instantly locking onto the few ominous grenades hanging from the waist of their leader. As the agents spread out to conduct a thorough search within the teahouse, Lin Feng's expression hardened with resolve. He took a deep breath and, in an instant, his face contorted into one of terror and panic. His legs buckled as he pretended to stumble and fall. 0

This fall set off a chain reaction like a row of dominoes. His body crashed into nearby tables and chairs, creating a cacophony of noise as cups shattered and tea splashed everywhere. The once orderly teahouse erupted into chaos. The patrons, startled by this sudden turn of events, panicked and began to scream, rising from their seats and blindly fleeing in all directions to escape the center of turmoil. 0

Meanwhile, as Lin Feng hit the ground, his hand discreetly reached for the prominent fire alarm on the wall. Originally installed to prevent fire disasters, it was rarely touched; now it became Lin Feng's key to turning the tide. With a firm pull, the piercing alarm blared like a sword slicing through the din of the teahouse, echoing throughout the space. 0

The sound of the alarm intertwined with the chaos of voices, creating a heart-pounding symphony of escape. The patrons had completely lost their composure, their only thought being to flee from what they believed was a fire. Seizing this opportunity, Lin Feng rolled and struggled through the crowd, skillfully blending into the frantic mass as he moved toward the exit. 0

The agents were caught off guard by this sudden alarm; their leader's face paled as his meticulous plan to root out the Underground Party unraveled before him. Seeing the crowd surge toward the exit like a tidal wave, he realized that if he did not regain control immediately—if there were any stampedes or if hidden enemies slipped away—he would be held responsible. 0

Thus, the agents had no choice but to temporarily abandon their search and focus on maintaining order amidst the chaos. They shouted commands and waved their guns in an attempt to clear a path for an orderly evacuation. The atmosphere of panic spread like wildfire; controlling it was no easy feat. 0

In the midst of this turmoil, Lin Feng tread carefully through the crowd, avoiding detection by the agents while also dodging frantic patrons rushing past him. His gaze remained fixed on the exit—a glimmer of hope for his escape. Sweat soaked his back, but he felt nothing but one driving thought: break free! 0

Just as he finally squeezed toward the door and was about to breathe a sigh of relief, he noticed that agents had set up a temporary checkpoint at the entrance, conducting cursory checks on everyone trying to leave in an effort to apprehend any suspicious individuals. Lin Feng's heart sank again; he paused his steps and quickly scanned his surroundings for another way out. 0

Suddenly, he spotted a vegetable cart parked by the street. The owner was anxiously watching toward the teahouse, clearly frightened by the alarm while also worried about his goods. Without thinking twice, Lin Feng dashed over and whispered urgently to him: "Old Countryman, I need to borrow your cart—it's urgent!" Before waiting for a response, he yanked aside some vegetables and climbed underneath. 0

The cart owner hesitated for a moment before Lin Feng poked his head out from under the cart with sincere urgency in his eyes: "Old Countryman, I'm just trying to help everyone escape from those agents! If you shout out now, we'll all be in trouble!" After a brief pause filled with uncertainty, the owner finally nodded and turned back to rearranging his vegetables nonchalantly. 0

The agents were too focused on managing the fleeing crowd to pay much attention to this cart. Following Lin Feng's cue, the owner slowly pulled away from the teahouse and began moving in the opposite direction. As the wheels rolled forward and Lin Feng lay tense beneath them, he listened as the noise outside gradually faded away before finally exhaling in relief. 0

Once they turned into a secluded alleyway and Lin Feng confirmed it was safe, he crawled out from under the cart. Dusting himself off gratefully, he said to the owner: "Old Countryman, I owe you one today; I'll remember your kindness." The owner scratched his head: "I don't know what you're up to exactly; you don't seem like a bad person. Just go on now; don't bring us any trouble." 0

Lin Feng nodded earnestly before disappearing into the depths of the alleyway. At that moment, he knew he had temporarily escaped danger; however, new orders awaited him from Wang Wei—a heavy burden resting on his shoulders. He tightened his sleeve where he concealed crucial information and silently vowed to complete his mission and tear open a ray of light in this shrouded darkness. 0
