Mo Wen found himself on an island, standing on a soft sandy beach with the vast blue ocean not far away. Strangely, the sea was calm and still, resembling a giant mirror laid flat on the ground. The reflection on the water allowed him to see clouds in the sky shifting and changing shapes. Approaching the shore, Mo Wen tentatively dipped his foot into the water, only to be startled by his own reflection; he appeared as a five or six-year-old child. At that moment, he was not a warrior but merely an ordinary little boy. 0

"How can this be? I clearly remember having reached the Refining Spirit Realm," Mo Wen exclaimed in surprise. However, he quickly calmed himself down. No matter what, he decided to explore what this island had to offer. 0

Crossing the soft sand, he ventured inland. The island was filled with various strange plants; trees had thick trunks yet only grew two or three meters high. Some trees sprawled across the ground like giant pythons, their leaves sprouting directly from their trunks, each leaf as large as a door. There were also ponds scattered throughout the woods, teeming with bizarre fish—some had serrated lips, others boasted large tusks, and some even had a single eye… Mo Wen carefully crawled along a tree trunk, afraid of falling into the pond and being devoured by those strange fish. 0

Jumping down from the trunk, he came upon a patch of flowers. From a distance, they looked vibrant and colorful, each bloom about the size of a grinding stone. As he approached, he noticed that the flower stalks were nearly a meter tall and devoid of leaves; they stood like colorful pillars with flowers blooming at their tops. Moving through the flower field, he suddenly sensed movement among the blossoms. Peering through the gaps in the petals, he saw a swarm of fist-sized insects flying towards him. These insects resembled bees but had stingers protruding from their heads. It seemed they had spotted Mo Wen below; one by one, they dove toward him like soldiers armed with spears. Instinctively, Mo Wen covered his head and ducked behind one of the stalks. After waiting for what felt like an eternity without any attack occurring, he opened his eyes and looked up to find that the insects had been ensnared by the flowers above him and were being devoured. To his horror, several flowers were now facing downward, revealing grinning human faces staring right at him. In shock, Mo Wen turned and ran as the flowers lunged toward him… 0

In a clearing, Mo Wen leaned against his knees, panting heavily. He had no idea how long he had been running but felt relieved that those flowers wouldn’t follow him here. Straightening up, he noticed a stone house not far ahead. A low stone wall surrounded it like a small courtyard filled with some flowering plants. Smoke wafted from the roof; it seemed someone lived there. Mo Wen walked towards the stone house. 0

The courtyard had no gate; the door of the house stood open. As he reached the entrance, he saw a young woman busy cooking over a fire pit inside. The interior was quite simple: several weapons hung on the walls and there was a stone bed in one corner. Sensing someone at the door, the woman didn’t turn around but continued her work. 0

" Wen'er, where have you run off to again?" 0

"Who are you?" Mo Wen asked, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity despite not knowing who she was. 0
