He decided to consume the last Transcendence Pill and begin absorbing the threads of Law. Once prepared, he left the small wooden cabin in the woods with Xiao Hei. He intended to challenge his Heavenly Unity Realm at the large stone in Gourd Mouth. Although Old Lu had said it would be the same anywhere, he insisted on going there because he liked it. Old Lu could only relent, especially since Mo Wen was no longer running around like before, alleviating Old Lu's worries about him falling into the river.
Sitting cross-legged on the stone, Xiao Hei played nearby. Since growing to two feet long, Little Guy had not grown any further; it remained the same size. Adjusting his state, Mo Wen swallowed the last pill and began to circulate his Kung Fu, entering a state of comprehension where he would attempt to absorb the threads of Law. He started to absorb the threads of Law; as a swirl of black and white Yin Yang Principle entered his body, he successfully transitioned into the later stage of the Heavenly Unity Realm. He felt an indescribable comfort throughout his body as his acupoints opened and meridians relaxed. Surrounding Lingqi surged into him, and the spirit in his Upper Dantian was solidifying continuously; although still not in physical form, it was much denser than before.
Then Mo Wen sensed that his body was no longer under his control; Kung Fu operated autonomously while absorbing Law. Watching as the Yin Yang Principle swirled into him and vanished within, he was overjoyed but quickly suppressed his emotional fluctuations to stabilize his mind; this was all he could do for now. There were no earth-shattering phenomena in the outside world, and Mo Wen's absorption of surrounding Lingqi did not create any disturbances like during his Refining Qi Realm phase. Everything within him continued to change; having absorbed eight threads of Law, one more would lead him to perfection.
As the ninth thread of Law entered his body, Mo Wen prepared to halt his cultivation but found he still could not control Kung Fu's operation. Drawing from past experiences, he remained calm and turned inward to observe the changes within him. Just then, while focusing inwardly, the tenth thread of Law entered his body. The Unity Realm Law did not present any special sensations upon entry and concealed itself afterward, making it impossible to detect. Thus, cultivators had to remain vigilant about their absorption of Law at all times.
After checking his condition and confirming there were no issues or discomforts, he attempted to master Kung Fu's operation again; this time he succeeded. As he circulated Kung Fu and sensed his Realm, he joyfully realized that he had achieved perfection in the Heavenly Unity Realm. All that remained was to spend some time consolidating and stabilizing it. However, he felt that his perfection seemed somewhat different but could not pinpoint any issues. Having learned from the anomalies during Refining Qi, he dared not attempt anything excessive; who knew what might happen? Shaking his head, perhaps he was overthinking.
Returning with Xiao Hei to the front of the wooden cabin, Old Lu lay on a tree stump and scrutinized Mo Wen. He had grown accustomed to Old Lu's gaze; it felt as if there were no secrets left before him—like a child standing bare before an adult.
