"For my own good? Mom, when have you ever done anything for my sake?" Lin Bingbing found it laughable, tossed out the words, and went straight upstairs to her room.

"That would be too boring. Don't worry; I will make her like me slowly," Second Young Master of Shyr said with a smile. He thought that forcing Lin Bingbing would be pointless; since he was feeling bored anyway, he would use his charm to win her over gradually.
"Bingbing marrying you would be her blessing. Second Young Master of Shyr, there's one more thing I'd like your help with," Mother Lin hesitated before speaking.
"Go ahead; what is it?"
"Well, my two sons are also dating girlfriends now but haven't bought houses yet for marriage. Could you possibly advance the Bride Price? Perhaps send us two villas as a start?" Mother Lin asked boldly.
Shi Xindi looked at Mother Lin with an amused expression.
"Sure, I agree. Let's go ahead and pay the Bride Price," Shi Xindi smiled. He was determined to marry Lin Bingbing; now he just needed to deal with Lin Bingbing's mother first.
Mother Lin and the others were overjoyed, especially Lin Bingbing’s brother, whose smile bloomed like a flower. These two were even more despicable than typical spoiled rich kids—completely reliant on their sister for support.
Lin Bingbing had no idea that her mother had already accepted the bride price from others. After receiving the bride price, Lin Bingbing's mother, along with her older brother and younger brother, spread the word that Lin Bingbing was engaged to the Second Young Master of the Shyr family.
