After chatting with the old man for a while, he suddenly laughed and said, "Young man, you’re not here to visit family, are you?"
Hearing this, Jiang Chen looked at the old man, who was smiling at him with an expression that seemed to say, "I know what you're up to."

Since they had the same purpose, the old man became even more talkative, though he kept his voice low.
"On this bus, most people have the same aim as us. But we’re just small players looking to join the excitement. We don’t even know if we can get into the mountains; I’ve heard that the Hidden Sect has control over the entrance, and ordinary folks can’t get in," the old man said.
"Treasure can stir people's hearts; it will definitely be dangerous. It’s best not to go in," Jiang Chen replied with a faint smile.
"You can't say that! The Sword Immortal Ruins are bound to have immortal swords appearing. This might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; how could we miss it? Young man, you’re really lucky today to run into me. I have a way to get into the mountains," the old man said with a grin, winking proudly at Jiang Chen.
"Oh? What’s your method?" Jiang Chen feigned curiosity, genuinely intrigued. The operations of these Hidden Sects could be quite unreliable; it was surprising that so many people were drawn to a Sword Immortal Ruins.
"I know some people. Young man, I think we’re fated to meet. I can take you along to see it too, but I have one condition," the old man said with a smile.
"What condition?" Jiang Chen asked out of boredom while chatting with the old man.
"Become my disciple," the old man stated.
"Become your disciple? I don’t think that’s necessary," Jiang Chen replied, somewhat speechless at the old man's forwardness.
"I only want to take you as my disciple because I see your extraordinary talent. Besides, if you become my student, I can arrange for you to marry my granddaughter; she’s quite beautiful," the old man quickly added.
"You have good taste; you can actually see my potential," Jiang Chen chuckled, finding the old man amusingly unique.
"I’ve lived nearly seventy years and seen countless people. The moment you got on this bus, I knew you were a martial arts prodigy. It’s just a pity you lack a great master to guide you. Meeting me is your good fortune! Do you know who I am?" the old man asked.
"I don’t."
"Have you heard of Iron Sand Palm?"
"I have."
"I am the heir of Iron Sand Palm. Look at my hands; they are capable of catching blades with bare hands." The old man extended his hands toward Jiang Chen. His hands were dark and thick, covered in calluses—definitely a practitioner.
"Do you want to learn?" The old man looked at Jiang Chen with anticipation and confidence.
"I’m not interested in learning," Jiang Chen replied with a smile.
The old man had been persuading Jiang Chen to take him as a master throughout the journey. At first, Jiang Chen found the old man quite amusing, but as the incessant chatter continued, he grew increasingly impatient and turned his head away, closing his eyes.
Seeing that Jiang Chen was trying to rest, the old man shook his head and fell silent.
After more than four hours, the bus finally arrived in Bi Yun County City, and it was already five in the afternoon.
"Young man, do you not believe what I say? How about this: when we get off the bus, come with me, and I'll show you the power of Iron Sand Palm," the old man said seriously as they approached Bi Yun Bus Station, giving Jiang Chen a gentle nudge.
