Could it be that someone really entered my room?
Just as I was puzzled, my phone vibrated.
"Ah."
I gasped in surprise and instinctively picked up my phone.
The screen displayed two unread messages.
The messages were from the person who had previously messaged me.
"Are you having the same nightmare?"
"Do you wake up every day to find the Wedding Dress on you?"
What the hell!
Who is this person?
How do they know these things?
I trembled as I replied, "Who are you?"
"How do you know all this?"
But the person didn’t answer my question; instead, they sent me an address.
"Bring that Wedding Dress and all the accessories you bought, and come find me."
I was stunned.
What on earth was happening?
Why did I have that nightmare?
Why was the Wedding Dress on me?
And how did that guy know all of this?
What did he want?
I had no idea.
And I didn't dare to think about it.
At that moment, all I felt was a wave of fear.
Following his instructions, I arrived next to a university.
"This is the place."
I looked up at the sign of the coffee shop, a wave of confusion washing over me.
Why did he want to meet here?
Is he a student at this university?
With a mind full of questions, I stepped into the coffee shop.
"Hello, is there a guy named Wang Zhan waiting for me?" I asked.
The waiter nodded, "You must be Miss Yang, right?"
"Please follow me."
The waiter led me to a corner.
There sat a sunny, handsome young man.
"Are you the one who messaged me?" I asked anxiously.
"That's me." The young man smiled at me. "I'm Wang Zhan, a graduate student from Southern University University."
He politely ordered a cup of coffee for me and continued, "You don't need to be nervous. I called you here to tell you something."
"What is it?" I asked, my voice trembling.
"How did you know about my dreams?"
"And why do I wake up every day to find the Wedding Dress on me?"
In response to my questions, Wang Zhan did not answer immediately. Instead, he took an old, worn-out diary from his bag and handed it to me.
"Take a look at this first."
"What is it?"
I accepted the diary and noticed that the cover was tattered and seemed to have some age to it.
As I opened the diary, I saw a passage written on the first page.
"Today is February Seventh. I saw a Wedding Dress in Backstreet Alley.
It was hanging at the entrance of a shop, fluttering in the wind like a dazzling flame.
I was deeply drawn to it and couldn't help but reach out to touch it.
Seeing that I liked the Wedding Dress, the owner willingly sold it to me."
I was extremely happy and brought it home to hang on the wall for admiration.
I paused for a moment.
Why did this passage sound so familiar?
Suddenly, I remembered something important.
It was on February Seventh that I rented that Wedding Dress in Backstreet Alley!
And the house I live in now is also near Backstreet Alley.
Is this a coincidence?
Or is there something more to it?
I continued to scroll down, and the following content left me even more astonished.
Today is February Eighth, and last night I had a nightmare.
In the dream, many old women surrounded me, grabbing my face and applying various things to it.
They were mumbling something about "bride," "bridal chamber," and "Give Birth."
